This is super nice because for one of my classes in school, we've got to read a bunch of chapters each week. So I "read" them.......not really, I listen to them while I take a nap. But anyway, it's great
Anyone can be adopted into the body of Christ. You have already taken the first step, and listening to the Word of God. I noticed it has been 4 years since the comment was posted. I don't know where you are in your walk, but I pray that the LORD will reveal himself to you and show you who He is. I used to be an atheist until 2018 when He opened my eyes and showed me things you couldn't imagine. My entire life has changed and I am so grateful!🙏
@wondercourage Thanx for asking basically the meaning is life can be a dream depending on how you live it but no matter what you can't escape the corruption thus further meaning you take the good with the bad.
Before I was born again, I could not understand the purpose of books like Joshua. Now, however, I understand God's purposes and his Fatherhood. Joshua can now to be interpreted as a book of spiritual pilgrimage. God guides those who truly seek to know Him.
The Old Testament is filled with long lists. I can understand why it could be hard for people to get through all this before getting to the juicey stuff. It's good these audiobooks exists so people can get The Bible into their mind easier. :)
Who can give me constructive criticism on reading the bible (audio book for ease). I do feel somewhat empowered by religion and a higher calling... but it's a hell of a thing to start believing in and giving your full trust to.
Arnold Murray, Shepherds Chapel. I learned to rightfully divide the word of the Lord from him. I am also studying Hebrew so I can read the Bible in it's original context with proper translation... All English translations are corrupted and many things have been added and taken away...
Sean Miranda, you can be a Christian. The Bible says that ALL have signed and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). Furthermore, the wages of sin is death (and eternal separation from God in Hell). BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23). In Romans 10:13 it says WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL be saved. Look to Jesus and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you. Then you will be a Christian.
@corruptdreams I agree with Wondercourage, even after your explanation it still doesnt seem positive in any form of explanation... Maybe there could be room for consideration on a revision of it :)
