Audio Cassette winder/Loader machine part 2 

i used to run these machines in a factory i worked in, we had to run 4 or 5 at a time! i liked that job!

Wow that is fast...I wish I could have fast forwarded and reversed my cassettes at that speed back in the day!

@mmichaelc Its not that is bad, its just that the wire keeps coming off, so i have to keep solder the wire back to the motor when i have time.

@gxc90 Aye your right. My guess is that i forgot to change the tape thinkness settings. For some reason the machine resets itself to the manufacture's settings when you leave it over night. The other machines don't do this

That's good those motors aren't cheap.

Splicing a tape by hand is a pain in the ass sometimes i can never get both ends aligned up perfectly they are usually off by a couple of millimeters however other times i get lucky it just takes practice & patience which I'm good at when it comes 2 this

@mmichaelc Im guessing that i forgot to change the tape thinkness settings. I had to film this quickly before the boss turned up for work...lol we very rearly use the other machine. Only when we have a BIG order coming in. Plus some parts of the other doesn't work. For example, it can't do a full reel change and it can't pre-start

Yea there was enough tape left on the reel to make one or two more tapes the setting for the size of the reel are correct. Great video. Do you have any video of the Tapematic on the right of this machine that model i've never seen before.

@mmichaelc Sorry I meant to say the C.P.U board . I still have a complete copy of the manual that came with one of the Tapematic 2002 loaders.

Very interesting video, though I'm just curious as to why the reel change took place when their could have been enough for another 60-min cassette? Once again, thanks for posting.

The green prestart motor is bad on the second machine ?

@MetroCammellDMUs The battery on the PLC board is bad. The first board on the left hand side. There not cheap either.

Where do you buy that big reel of tape? I've searched but couldn't find anything, though I don't quite know the name of it.
