Thanks for sharing the video, super helpful! The different cable colors were especially helpful to see how everything is connected. I'm redoing mine... it was storage for 5+ years and now I'm realizing I did a terrible job combining speaker grounds and all kinds of mess. lol

Hummmm. That's what I'm getting. Not really bad but bad enough. Don't know why as it is just straight from the cartridge. I have tried a ground from a few different places but can't get rid of it totally.
@@ronnic1 Well I guess I can say yes. Almost all my equipment is plugged into a power strip. Yes I did try the turntable straight into the wall, no help. Tried grounding it to the receiver, no help. Then I grounded to the pre amp, still did it. Left it connected to the pre amp and ran then ran another wire to a ground point on the power strip. Bang! it worked! That ground point is the part where a coax cable screws on. I don't understand or get it but it works.
@@T_da_B sacrificing for better audio quality??? you mean couldn’t just get a external amplifier and leave it as is? I don’t strust in this videos And they are misleading… You don’t have to do this for a better audio signal. Just cause you get more frequencies that doesn’t mean the every human ear can catch and hear them frequencies. That’s just nuts.
@@T_da_B you mean that digital signal that ur getting and that ur sending threw the cameras audio stream signal ??? you mean that video where they check on audacity audio singnal. And you can see the messy signal. dude am not doing that to my TT. Ur nuts if you think I’m gong to do this for a small high end frequency. It’s all about that bass baby
@@T_da_B this is how I know education as failed you…. using DVS uses Phono output for signal. Not usb. usb is not used for anything but to convert ur LP tracks into digital format. Which is kinda dumb to be honest.
