It was the music for the original trailer for HotS (about a year before release). The HotS soundtrack was actually modeled on this.

Loved it so much in the HotS trailer. Even the guys at Blizzard must have liked it a lot since the intro music is pretty much the same. And I didn't even know I had a soft spot for sound design albums like Drumscores. :) Thanks for posting this, guys!

The name of the song reminds me of the manga Berserk. I think this sone would go great with it!

If anything the name's more related to the berserkergäng accounts during wars against the vikings: real-life monsters, zealous cultists of Odin who'd charge in battle wearing little to nothing high af on magic mushrooms. They'd be a living pin-cushion of arrows and still charging at you, naked and fuck off angry.

Blizzard got this as the trailer music for HotS teaser and liked it so much that they based the HotS theme on this. So you could say it's the *original* HotS theme.
