Nice video. The collaboration with BigDWiz was excellent. This amp is pretty close to my Orion Xtr 2500.1 in power and price to performance. Thumbs up for that!

I see they made some changes since I had my 1600 watt version which actually had a 1500's internal board! They switched the output transistors to TO-3P/TO-247's from the TO-220/50N06 mosfets they used to use! These boards are actually pretty thick as well, compared to other brands and the traces hold up pretty well! Really surprised they actually strapped two amps internally for the design, but that would explain the 2-ohm minimum impedance since each one internally is rated at 1-ohm!

I know this is a couple years old, but investing in a couple good power supplies if he hasn’t! There are some good ones out there can be placed together for more amperage. Megawatt has a 50a version that is stackable for up to 300a. And they aren’t expensive. I’m sure he has all this type equipment by now, but it never hurts to at least pass along some good info.

I am running that amp on my 2 nemesis audio 12s. They hit hard I'm satisfied with the amp. Glad to see it does well in testing.

Saw this video linked to BIG D so I had to check it out, Big D is great! Cool video, I was wondering why they rated this amp at 2ohms, now I know, 2 amps strapped, cool. But dang its a monstrosity.

I'm building a nice rock geared system for my car and I bought that amp on sale last year but never installed it. I had no idea it put out that much. Guess I need to upgrade my subs and my alternator.

I ran this amp at 1 ohm on 2 hdc3 15's. It slammed pretty good until I upgraded.

I like the output of these APCL series amps and do great in my installs. Now on another subject, I know that a lot of people hate the Epsilon products but the Power Acoustik EG10k was blasted by a lot of people but I am looking at proce verses output, this APCL3k dynamic current draw was over 400amps while producing 4600plus wattage at a 2ohm load but when the EG10 drew 360plus dynamically while producing 4700 plus wattage at 1/2 ohm with no issues....it was called a junk and a few other word's thats no better in description. 😊...and it comes with that 1/2 ohm warranty that most don't. please jelp me better understand why it is being trashed so openly while others are not as great ln the dyno get better reviews?

Had this amp installed in February & it's still going hard. Pushing 2, 12" skar vxf 1500 rms & 3ooo max!.. not strap-able would've been awesome to have 6 + k watts

Audiopipe has alot of haters but I ran a strapped pair of mini 1500's for a couple years in the south Texas heat and had 0 problems. They have some of the best cheap amps out there IMO.

its not 1ohm stable because its just two of their amps strapped together in one big amp.

Great amp it burn up tow kicker l7 and 2 sound stream 12" wired to 2 ohms and the gain was a Lil over quarter it was connected to 3 .marine boat batteries

Should of done a 1 ohm burst. If the 1500 and 1800 can handle .5 ohm all day long why not test at 1 ohm?

Was wondering if you had a recommendation. I just bought a AudioPipe TXX-BDC4-12D 12 Inch 2,200 Watt High Performance Powerful Dual 2 Ohm DVC. I am having a hard time figuring out what amp to pair up. It is in a Qbox single 12" ported. I was wondering what amp will push its peak without blowing the sub. Any suggestions?? Thanks

I guess this amplifier is out of the question for those short circuit people who like to drive amplifiers at such a low ohm load.

Looks like it's being tested with over 15 volts. End result at 14volts. So if it's in car with 14 volts, turn it on and it'll drop to 13 volts?

its just 2 1500 watt amps bridged internally thats why it can't do 1 ohm. why buy a Class D if you can't do 1 ohm. now you gotta rewire or rebuy your woofers to compensate for DVC 2 ohms

I had a Skar rp2000 wired at 1/2 ohm (not recommended) to a zv5 but blew the amp and for a temp amp I installed the audio pipe 3000 but it doesn’t have near the power of the Skar, both gains set with a oscope, any ideas why it don’t make a lot of power before clipping?

I have this amp big d and it keeps shutting out(protection light) comes on wen bass note drop I have it hooked to 2 skar audio evl 12 inch 2 ohm subs I have also installed a Extra battery in the trunk have a zero gauge kit the radio even shuts out even with the amp turn all da way down

I know its not 1ohm stable. But i still wanting to see if it will smoke lol i have on gonna try and wire down to 1 and let this box take it back to about 2 ohm see what happens. If any one has done it please let me know
