AUDIOSLAVE - Like a Stone (Live Studio Session)

Please be patient with me but my post isn't about this video but my recent interactions with the group. I'll try to make this quick. I came across this group on RU-vid sent a link to my grandson and he responded to me that he new the band and was a fan. So I went to their website and ordered him a tee shirt for his 17th birthday. There were some delays and when I reached out to them they explained the shipping problems and offered to make him a birthday video. Which they did. My grandson was thrilled as was the reset of my family. I ordered a $30 tee shirt and got a memory that my grandson will never forget. I can't express how grateful I am or what a great family of young men these guys are! Thanks guys

Covering anything Cornell is insanely difficult, and you guys CRUSHED IT!!!! When Todd hit those notes, it sent a chill up my spine.

To leave yourself exposed to be judged side by side with Cornell is truly gutsy (Todd). I had to compare it myself (no lie) and here is what I heard… this is the closest I have heard this song done live in one take at the album speed and tempo without any trickery. I watched Cornell do it live at slightly slower speed to get all those breaths in just right and also rearrange the composition to get the vocals cleaned up. I didn’t hear any of that in your version and that is a huge risk/reward scenario which should be rewarded and recognized. 👏🏼 Way to put it on the line and go for it.

Spectacular. I was lucky to experience Chris Cornell 3 times. He lived in Miami. A truly kind and beautiful person inside and out. He would certainly smile if he’d ever had the chance to hear you guys play.

The solo: Morello would be proud. The bass: perfect tone and feel. The drums: Spot on timing with a gorgeous sound. The vocals: MUE flavour, whilst giving justice to Chris Cornell.... especially the growl at 4:19 !

Wow been following you guys for a while but the lead singer is so on point on this one! Totally suits his voice! As far as the solo on guitar, that was executed pretty much flawlessly too. The rest of the band solid as a rhinocerous’s backbone.
