Today we was turning around and spotted a big pile of rubbish. We went for a closer look and found out it was a Turkish Company making parts for JCB. Quite a lot of people came out on this one, even the Director. Enjoy!
@@hymatwat9412 There you go. The ignorance coming out as always. So every foreign person you see the first thing that comes into your brain is ilegal emigrants.🤔 It's sad
Ah this one is a beauty, that was certainly "alarming" when someone tries to circle behind you. The woman was looking at him doing it and I was literally waiting on her to give some kind of signal and you would be snatched and never seen again! The guy who first spoke to you was extremely considerate, and it was very pleasing to see he apologised for using his native tongue during the telephone call, and took the time to explain in English what he had said. That was so you did not feel like he was being malicious, a small gesture which shows his empathy to a fellow human.
USA UK allow their friends where they have huge financial interests do whatever they want but all of a sudden care when this could have happened elsewhere by another country than there is sanctions and even go to wars in the name of freedom and destroy those once peaceful countries but when it is Israel Saudi or their other allies all is ok.
I did wonder when the guy in the red coat went behind me. Maybe if I stumbled on something worse than a pile of rubbish but on this occasion I survived. All in the name of entertainment hey 🤣
It reminds me of when going through a village in India in a Tuk tuk that got a puncture, the whole village of about 30 people arrived to watch me and the driver change the wheel.
The British guy had a military air about him, and was actually more dodgy than the Turkish guys. And was the serious one Russian? Something odd going on there.
Well done again for remaining calm and polite, there was enough of them came out to make the situation quite intimidating. I always find it really amusing, without being racist, that people of non British origin try to impose the restrictive laws from their own countries on us and that people who don't want to be filmed stand in front of a person with a camera. Well done and keep up the great audits.
To be fair, I don't think they were trying to impose laws from another country, they were just unaware of the laws of England & Wales - like many others who are originally from England and Wales.
Forgot to add, you are quickly becoming a top auditor, really good positive informative interactions and your tone with people is always good. Respect 👍
@james seaward agreed, there’s no aggression or loss of control and he remains respectful no matter what other people say or do, whilst putting his case forward forcefully
I work at a skip firm and we supplied to a two man carpet business, and they done an 8 yard skip in just over a fortnight. You'd be surprised at what is binned nowadays. Excluding the beds and settee I could redo a house with what people with money throw away ✌
well, I heard the guy saying it's a new company and you'd guess it takes some time dialing shit in especially if there is something called quality control so just be happy for all the jobs being created cause something for sure, they could've produced the stuff in turkey and shipped it over for much cheaper!
@@davegnarlsson4344 I use to fill a van with what the rich threw away in the skips. Some of it would go to a Saturday auction, some of it I'd sell at a Sunday car boot sale and some weeks that make me half as much as my weekly wage. I've even found cash in clothing plus gold and silver that adds up then I'd sell that for scrap, £275 scrap 😂 one of the best jobs I had 👍✌
Old guy with the English accent handled it very well and de-escalated the situation like a pro. The rest of them seemed a bit clueless but the first guy was nice enough.
@@135Ops And you know nothing about GDPR laws. DJ can film because he isn't covered by GDPR. The employee _can_ take pictures on his personal phone whilst at work if the pictures are for their own use. But taking pictures to share with other employees for the purpose of indicating someone to watch out for breaks GDPR rules because the business *must* first ask permission from DJ. As for your other reply to me, that shows the same lack of knowledge and intelligence as this one.
@@TheSadButMadLad Incorrect interpretation of GDPR laws. The factory employees were taking photos/footage from the same public property that DJ was standing on. They were not on work property, and the act of taking photos/footage would not likely fall within the remit of their work duties, contracted or otherwise, which means the activities would be of a private nature rather than a business one. They were quite literally members of the public “filming what they see”, as DJ describes of his own actions.
@@adamsouth1368 Where the employees took the pictures is immaterial. That it wasn't within their work remit actually means that they had no right to take the photos under GDPR, and that is because they are still in the work hours. They would have to prove that the photos were not shared with other employees and not shared with notes to other staff such as "watch out for this person". Some examples. When an employee is driving to a site of work but sees an accident and takes pictures and shares it on their personal facebook then that's not under GDPR. At the site, they see a squirrel, take a picture and share with colleagues at work, that's not under GDPR since it wasn't a person. At the site, they see someone parking badly and share a picture of that with HR, that is caught be GDPR. At the site, they might see a person walking around the site when no one does so normally and think they should take a picture for security purposes. That is caught by GDPR since it's not a static CCTV camera that indiscriminately records. Some rules within GDPR can be stupid and can seem overly restrictive. I think a lot of GDPR is counter productive since it can also mean that when someone has left a company, all their emails must be deleted, unless specific permission is sought to keep them. Being pedantic about the rules is a way of getting back at those who think they have authority as it's a way of bursting their bubble.
@@TheSadButMadLad Again, incorrect. The burden of proof that you describe does not exist in common English law. Additionally the ‘working hours’ element is completely irrelevant, a person is not bound from/to personal activity conducted within regular working hours as a number of legal acts distance the two. For example, if I pop out of work to go to the dentist, I’m not bound to the terms of my working contract during that trip as there is no link between the nature of my employment and the supplementary activity. I am interested to know why you think a member of the public filming DJ - on public property, outside of work and in zero connection to a working contract of employment - is captured under GDPR, but that DJ doing the same thing is not?
Hilarious! Mob handed and serious lack of knowledge still astounds me still after all this time.Love it when they talk to you guys about personal privacy yet everyday they walk and drive around and get filmed.
I thought this was all very pleasant from all sides tbh . Obviously there was concern but nobody actually got rude or confrontational in a way to cause concern . You explained perfectly what the lawful situation was and they obviously listened and learned I feel . The first guy was genuinely nice . Lovely audit . Made a change from gobby sows 😊👍
11:18 And this is the point when they need to really gen up on UK law as they will learn about GDPR. I think it's also worthwhile putting in a civil claim (only a £100) for the harassment and alarm caused by their mobbing you even though you explained everything to them and corrected them on their misunderstanding of the law in a very polite manner. Their lawyers will charge more than £100 for the legal advice that it'd be better to compensate you than to take it to court. A letter before claim doesn't cost anything if you write it yourself. There are many templates available of LbCs.
I live in the area and had no idea this firm existed etc. In fact, in general, if the general public did actually go onto industrial estates they may find small car repair firms, window replacement firms and other small companies. There's more to life than Halfords and Big Names. 👍
I was worried as it might have got nasty. The first guy was really pleasant but that small looming crowd looked really menacing on screen. Well done for staying calm.
The older chap in the hi-vis was a true gentleman, what a nice guy. He got straight to the point in a very nice way, then off he went. No doubt, he later gave the staff there a 'tool box talk' about the law in the UK regarding photography in public. 🙂👍
It's amazing how the newly arrived people are all qualified lawyers and experts in UK law, especially the Afghan security guards fresh off the dinghy at Dover.
They seem to adopt the principle of a communal high visibilty vest; where they just all walk around in close proximity and rely on the safety aspect of one vest. Either that or the company has financial problems.
Do me a favour and go back next week and see if the rubbish is clear. Well done for not allowing the guys to intimidate you, obvious that the Big boss only appeared when bully boy tactics didn't work. I wonder how many staff are illegal workers?
I said on PJ Audits the other day, how many foreigners tell a British Person what they can and cannot do on a British Street. Seriously, they left an oppressive sh*t hole, they should not bring that here!
TRANSLATION OF PHONE CALL: Hi Orhan, I'm good ... oh god (unrelated to you) ..... So a man came here, for his youtube channel, he's recording a video, if someone can come and meet him it would be good ... because he's recording the rubbish etc, he's still recording actually ... brother he stepped in then out, they told me from inside someone is taking photos, so I went out to greet the gentleman, someone should come here asap to meet him, okay? … okay bye. Was in a polite tone btw
they all retreated inside with the security quickly, i think maybe he knew you had a right and they all followed him back inside thinking it was a serious matter
good audit. Did you hear the news today about all the Ring doorbell cameras? They are illegal apparently and one guy is getting sued by the neighbour for £100k. Was in daily mail i think on line. Is it the end for filming people in public?
Something to hide I would say, H&S and Environmental Health needs to pay that one a visit and possibly Immigration especially if they don't KNOW OUR LAWS! Big fences and no signage plus no phone numbers.. Alarm bells should be ringing on this one!!!!
Wow , you had the Turkish Mafia on you there my friend, something very strange about this place it would have been great to put the drone over this one , I truly think that they are hiding something here. Great video. E
I think you should check back on this company. They've been using this same excuse I believe over n over about not having any pallets .. They're abusing the system imo
@@happyguy201 yes that’s the answer. Bored of people spouting about gdpr and ‘don’t delete that footage, I will be requesting it’… err your just talking for the sake of it you aren’t requesting anything
Do they want the UK to be like China or North Korea. The law in Turkey is similar to here, filming from public is allowed in most cases.

First thing that is needed is to make sure that the prick ha the correct docs to be running a business and also if said prick has the right paper work to be in the country and talking for the state.
