It's so nice to see a makeup video without twenty minutes of apology for bad lighting, camera angles and the fact there are zits and bad hair, or a three hour long story about how you're doing this and that in real life, how you're hoping for a million subscribers and where people can send stuff to you, and then ten further minutes of bragging about ridiculously expensive luxury makeup brands and what ones are on trend that just happen to be on hand for this look. Simple videos straight to the point that I don't need to waste half an hour to watch to see five mins of technique. Keep it up. :)

I totally agree with you. Some of the make up blogs are awful. Voices are terrible, they are loud and can't articulate in addition to what yiu have mentioned. This video was skilled.

Yup! Especially with historical celebrities like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe etc. Their looks always end up with huge fake lashes, a ton of highlighter etc. which weren’t even used back in the day. Aly’s make-up transformation videos are always on point though. She really takes into account all the little details like shadow and light, bone structure etc. She doesn’t just do an "inspired make-up look", but she actually looks like the person at the end which I’ve never seen any other RU-vidr manage to do. You can tell Aly really knows her stuff.

Not many people may need it, but I really really appreciate you constantly showing several photos at different angles of the person you're transforming into through, to point out their specific features. I hate it when people do celebrities look but DON'T show their reference photos. Those celebrities have thousands of photos with different make ups on, which one are they trying to capture? Seriously. Thank you so much.

Aly, I don't see people with so many talents too often. It's amazing to see that not only are you an AMAZINGLY talented singer (in so many genres!!!), but also have such deep passion and talent for aesthetics.
