Must admit that I found this confusing to begin with, but following step by step proved it to be fine. I was able to get rid of the second cable needle earlier and that simplified things. Thank you for the tutorial - this is a really nice shaped hood, and is exactly what I needed for my planned project.
II have a question I printed out pattern so happy to get it but your instructions for increase rows say use N1 then N2 but in your video it's the opposite Which is it ?? ???
Hm... To be honest I'd have to do some research because I haven't knit this pattern in several years, and it's not fresh in my mind. To be honest I'm getting ready to help my dad move next week, and I'm not going to be able to address this right away. Are you in the VIP Group on Facebook? If not you can join here: facebook.com/groups/PerfectlyKnottyVIPGroup/ That is a great place to ask questions like this and get a response faster than in the video comments. Someone in the group might be able to help before I even have a chance to :) They ar awesome that way!
I saw all of your comments and I can tell you are excited about this project. I apologize that I didn't have the links updated as I have been working on a number of updates on the website and Ravelry, and obviously some got missed. At this time go to this link to access the pdf download: mailchi.mp/90344b3c385e/audreyhoodscarf I appreciate your patience, and you alerting me that this pattern isn't finished in the updating process! Looking forward to seeing your finished project.
@@PerfectlyKnotty I was having such a hard time so I crocheted a few rows with increases then switched to knitting so far it's turning out .the crochet rows are very pretty Hope it turns out and I am not doing all this work for nothing
No, the hood cannot be worked on straight needles. I explain how to use 2 circular needles in the video. I want to encourage you to TRY IT. Follow along, stopping the video as you need to.
