Actually the reboot isn’t as scripted as the original. Any reality show has their cast members wait outside and wait till production has cameras and mics in position to make sure they pick up on the conversation. They do this to AVOID it being scripted by having to retake a conversation with faulty equipment. Audrina and Steph really don’t see one another beforehand so the shock seeing one another is the same way you would feel meeting a friend for lunch, just gone about a different way.
