Man, I love these chimps. Plum is so adorable and watching her being groomed by Berry was precious. At 8:08 Berry leans forward and snatches a fly. She opens her hand and it fly's away. I know what she was thinking at that moment. "Crap, I did have it." This fight was hard to read. Couldn't really tell what upset Berry but Peach doesn't put up with any challenges. Almost like, get out of my face. Loved the way Decky jumped in and tucked Peach underneath himself. Meanwhile he gets in two backhands on Cherry's head. Stop the video at 11:43 and look at Ibuki hooting at Deckie. Awesome.
Looks like Decky wanted someone...anyone to help him chase Cherry. Nobody but Peach somewhat responded to his cries but she can only get so involved while caring for Plum. Maybe that missing toe still bothers him when it comes to disputes with Berry and Cherry.
Patrick....You are spot on. What we just saw, especially in the corner of the enclosure at the video end, was Decky letting out some of what he has held inside of himself since December, 2018. God love him.
@@joelanders3153 A helicopter was passing over when Decky was in the votner which is probably why he was agitated like that. Once the helicopter passed he stopped crying and fidgeting. A lot of the chimps get stressed over truck noises, grass cutting, planes/helicopters, etc.
@@grace-M I too miss Fubuki n I did see your question wanting to know what's happening to Fubuki, So according to CR3 all male Chimp aged 6 are being separated temporary from their mother to be independent. At night he sleeps in his own room which is beside his mom with a window to her so he can see her. This is not permanent. As he's ONLY 6 he hasn't reached sexual maturity yet. He will reach at age 9. I think berry got upset that decky was coming in with that grin and when berry made an advance towards decky, peach jumped in bc that's her bud. I didn't even know that fubuki was being put separate. I hope it doesn't last too long :(
Arnold Fernbladst - i thought of that right away. A s Decky was protecting Peach, he backhanded Cherry twice. Decky barely even looked at Berry the rest of the way. When it started up again, Decky went over and backhanded Cherry again.
I think what started the fight was a combination of something getting Deckie excited, Mikan standing over Plum causing Peach to abruptly end grooming Berry to collect Plum, Berry felt slighted and as well as catching Deckie's infectious excitement leads to Peach lunging at Berry, fight ensues.
@@kimmarievan-ever6599 Watch at 0.5 slow motion a few times. Peach didn't give Berry a slap. She was just grooming her eye brows. Not sure if Peach did something to her eye or not. Rewatch this at slow motion. Mikan was actually very close to Plum.
I worry about decky so much. I'm afraid he will just drop dead. Knock on wood, that won't happen !!! I wonder if that excitement, chasing and fighting will be too much at some point. I love decky !!! 🌹🌹🌹
Berry didn't do a damn thing. In fact, none of them did. Decky joined in and freaked everyone out, so Peach lunged at Berry. I've watched this over and over. Slow motion and all. But when cherry came into cheap shot Peach is what set it off. I'm so glad she's gone now! I almost think cherry was off camera instigating the whole damn thing. Panicked Peach, and she went for Berry because of her facial expressions towards her and Decky. Oh, and did I say that I'm so glad that cherry is gone now? I love that! ❤️
