We finally obtained a bipod for the AUG LMG barrel! This will be a quick long(ish) range video using the new setup. A huge thanks to Klein Machining and a viewer (you know who you are) for the opportunity to make this happen!
The AUG does maintain zero when switching barrels IF they are the same length. However when you change lengthy change velocity which changes trajectory which changes zero.
That AUG looks way better with the proper bipod on it! Lol man i loved how you flipped the magnifier out of the way at distance and your group size immediately shrank from 12 MOA down to 2-3 MOA LOL. Cant make that stuff up!
@@triplefshooting what is the furthest range you've managed with that longer barrel? I've had people tell me, "with the right optics" you can get a kilometer (1000m)? ty
@ghostwriter1415 I've not pushed it more than 250 so far. I can get up to a 400-yard range but haven't yet. I imagine it will still hit with some authority at 400. I've honestly never been able to shoot further, so I can't speak from experience.
That’s pretty incredible, had RU-vid recommended your other video. Just wondering about the barrel accuracy. I’m not going to buy one but if you could only buy the barrel completed with a choice of the gas block and bipod that would be cool. No idea what gas block they are using and what the actual barrel manufacture is.
@triplefshooting yeah was thinking the super sponge trigger would make it difficult Try it with the AR-RPK might be way easier and *maybe* more reliable than binary
@warystatue33bornagain40 that's the plan. My dad recently purchased a fostech lower and it seems much better as far as reliability is concerned. The trigger pull is a bit heavier, but more tactile. I do agree that going to a good lightweight trigger would probably be best
