Hi friends, I'm back but a lil' late with a cozy plan with me for August! I've been super burnt out from journaling over the past month and finally felt inspired after I redesigned my entire desk setup ~ This month's setup is rather short, but I'm just happy I was able to create something despite feeling unmotivated. I love watching your videos, and I understand the burnout. One suggestion that I try when I feel that way is to try something totally different. Something really outside of my comfort zone. Quite often your spreads look similar and in the same color family. That is why I REALLY enjoyed the oranges! That was so different and felt like you pushed yourself a little (which made me push myself). Anyway, I know you're busy planning your wedding and things, just a suggestion. (For September I'm doing a purple and green alien theme, which I've never attempted)!

I'm happy you're enjoying my videos! Thank you for the suggestion, I totally get what you mean. More often than not for me it comes down to what i'm vibing with at the time. If i'm feeling super passionate about a theme, color etc. then I use that as inspo for my journal (i.e the oranges, 1970s) ~ but if i'm feeling my usual vibes then that's what I end up doing! I feel like burn out is inevitable regardless especially for creatives, even when it comes to themes/ideas that make you feel like most at peace ironically 😆
