As someone who lived in Hawaii for years and studied the ocean/corals I am SO happy you spoke about how a lot of sunscreens are NOT safe for reefs, even if you didn't know before because it's not necessarily common knowledge. It makes a HUGE difference, and a lot of sunscreens are banned if they contain oxybenzone, etc. WAY TO GO KAT! Have fun in Hawai'i it's so beautiful!!!!
Re: Time moving faster as you age. Someone explained it to me like this. When you're 10, a year is one-tenth of your life, and therefore a large chunk. When you're 30, a year is only one-thirtieth, and therefore a much smaller chunk of your life so it seems to go by faster. A year only gets smaller as you age, so it goes by faster.
Makes sense. But i dont think life was zooming by the older generations this way! A lot of older people ive spoken to , say the same thing about time. Its like now life is fast for everyone,regardless of age. It wasnt this way 20 or 30 years ago. I think it has to do with the way we live now...
Someone explained it to me like this. When you are 10, you go 10 mph in your life. When you are in your 20 s you go 20 mph , when you're 30, 30 mph and so on...as you age you go faster in life.
