The Green Knight was one of my favorite movies of the year. It felt like a slow, surreal dream that kept getting crazier and crazier. The music was really immersive and I'm so glad I took the chance and watched the movie.
Same here. I love how it made no attempt to modernize the story but still changed certain aspects of the original story. It’s a movie that will have me thinking for a while, and those are my favorite movies to watch
i hope everything is well with you and your brother. i appreciate your take on movies, often on ones i haven't even heard of yet! thank you for your work and care that you put into your videos, it shows.❤
I love your channel. A shame the video essays are on hold because I really think there is a tremendous opportunity to examine eco horror in light of recent films like “Sea Fever,” “The Beach House,” “Gaia,” and “The Block Island Sound.” Hope you guys can get back to your usual great analysis soon. Best of luck!
I really hope everything is well with you and your brother. You guys have not only introduced me to new movie genres but also sparked my love for films again.
if criticism is wanted: 1. the sound mixing of the ad in the beginning is a lot different than the rest of the video, and 2. the framing of the headshot is a little weird imo, to me the camera feels a bit too high up. would love to see more of this though!!
green knight is so mixed for me. more i think more i think plot is really silly but it was super well shot. it started really well and director went on for some weird choice and main lead's story arc didnt feel satisfying in the end.
your videos are always very lovely and i look forward to seeing them, i hope everything is well with you and i'll be waiting patiently for any contend from you!!!
The green knight had potential, the trailers were very intriguing, but it ended up being just another "poetic flic" it reminded me a lot of Vahalla rising, another poetic movie ( theyre too poetic for their own good imo). Could have been a new Excalibur, but that movie will remain on the throne, while the green knight isnt even on the castle grounds.
