I have used several different thickness of foam in my Sizzix. It can handle up to 5mm, but depending on the condition of your plates, sometimes I may have to hit it with my Excel blade after. In my video I used 3 mm. I also make my own adhesive foam by applying sheet adhesive before running it through. This also helps with warping the foam.
