This play is a masterpiece on stilts. The actors are wonderful and the adorable child steals the heart. My only disappointment is with the director. I'm not an expert on acting, let alone directing, of which I know absolutely nothing. That being said and I may be way off base on this, but I think the director might have paid more attention to the timing of the delivering of lines, and asked the actors to sometime soften and moderate their gestures. Also, the director needs to make sure that the audience is not diverted by backstage folks appearing to the audience. The guy occasionally giggling during the performance, who I think is recording it, needs to think about what he is doing if he intends to post this video on RU-vid. It's annoying and disrespectful to the actors. It's like folks who don't turn off their cell phones. None of this significantly affected a very fine performance of a very fine play. Great work Gainesville Actors Warehouse!
For the life of me I can't understand the man (perhaps the camera man) laughing at random points throughout the production. This play is far from a comedy and it ruins the tone at times.
@@latoyiajackson4458 Yeah, that play is nice as well, and I think it's delivered in such a way that encourages laughter from the audience. This play is more in the style of the 1987 Broadway one with James Earl Jones. With this play, there's just one fella in the back chuckling to himself at inopportune moments.
