But why do they always have to draw aunt May like she’s a leather wrapped skeleton?! She doesn’t look elderly, she looks fuckin DEAD in a bunch of these images. I never really noticed because I’ve never seen so much of her back to back like this. I’ve read a ton of Spider-Man too, I just usually gloss over the shriveled prune looking May. Thank god for Marisa Tomei.
@@enadopato Y'all? I'm a singular person, not multiple of them. And look at the date, I commented this on the day that he died, which is relevant. Making a comment about the death of basically every Marvel superhero creator on a video about a Marvel character _is_ relevant. Have some respect, and stop telling people what to do.
Okay but aunt May’s relationship with Doc Oc really makes me wonder if there was any subtext I’m into the spider verse, like we already know she and Liv knew each other, just by her calling her Liv, but what if there was something more. That, would be unexpected.
I won't lie I kind of like this. It really fits with how grandparents actually are that you always see the old cute side of them. But once you dig into their pass you see all kinds of troubling stuff and get a whole different view on them.
i miss aunt may being smart and knowing peter parker is spider-man because that relationship is far more interesting then having not knowing peter parker is spider-man
In the Ultimate Spiderman cartoons, Aunt May hooked up with Agent Coulson, who was Peter’s high school principal and high up S.H.I.E.L.D commander, in kahoots with Fury and probably just 1 stage under Fury’s director role
And Drake doesn't even touch on Trouble, the non-canon (thank God) story of teenage May meeting Ben Parker, cheating on him with his brother, becoming pregnant and giving the child to Ben's brother and her best friend. Yes if you follow this means Peter is secretly May's biological son.
Didn't she kills Chameleon once by cynide poisoning? When he posing as Peter, Aunt May quickly realized that's not Peter. Then she proceed to feed Chameleon some cyanide cupcakes masked as almond cupcakes. And then she reveal that Peter hates almond so much, which triggers Chameleon immediately. But it's too late, he almost collapsed and then he dies
Ok, here‘s a sad question i have to ask. I know that Jameson had a Daughter and a Wife and that both of them died (hell, his wife died twice) and now that his Father died too, does Jameson have *ANYONE* left in his life he consideres family? I ask that because in the Comic where Jameson and Spider-Man had an interview, Jameson said that he had no one and nothing. That‘s why i ask. Doesn‘t he still have son, the one from Spider-Man 2?
E E like, we get that J. J. is supposed to be a guy that people should hate because he always is against almost every kind of Hero and that he is always angry. Hell, they gave him a Hitler-stache at the beginning, so people would hate him even more, but after *ALL THAT,* i think he became the comic person people feel most sorry for.
This is why I subscribed. May's love life is one of the funniest and interesting things in Spider-Man lore. Also I also have an Aunt May too, but I don't think she hooked up with a Skrull. Hopefully... >_>
Johnny Jerome, Ben Parker, Octo Octavius, Nathan Labunski, Willie Lumpkin, John J.J. senior, Edward Jarvis. There has been 8 love interests with Aunt May.
I'm not going to kinkshame May about this. HOWEVER, the question this brings up for *me* is... how many *other* characters were banging Skrulls during Secret Invasion??
Poor Skrulls, everyone thinks they are too weird for a relationship for being alien, but someone like Superman is okay. Sure he looks human, but he is not. Besides, some superhumans, and sub-species (like mutants, inhumans, eternals and deviants) don't even look like regular humans, like Beast.
re aunt may the badass my favorite scene of them all was pre Spider-Man joining the avengers. Aunt may and MJ are in a Bank and a a supervillain shows up. May spots frank castle, recognizes him and after 'wondering' about his name ("now what was it, The Disciplinarian? no, the Spanker? oh yes that it the punisher) fakes having a heart attack to distract the villain so Frank can get the time he needs to tak him out.
LMAO when I saw this title I was thinking of Aunt B! duh moment I guess.... but whos know, maybe there's a Andy Griffith comic book out there somewhere
