Whaea Rose Pere encourages participants of Aunty's Garden how the wisdom of the ancient teachings (Te Wheke) should be applied in their practices, social, and family environments. Music by Junktion 2008
I loved meeting you Rose at the Wisdom of the Origins conference in New Mexico USA. I thank you for taking the huge trip your presence was needed there.Thank you! I am in Ontario Canada and feel forever linked-in consciousness with you and the Maori tribes. I have now been guided to make a visit to New Zealand. A friend of mine.. ever since meeting some Maori on Vancouver Island during a ceremony has been receiving messages from the whales. She is confused what it is she supposed to do to help!
Kia ora Nan, you're right we like to feel Papatuanuku with our hands and feet. We like to plant kai. We help replenish bird numbers and regenerate plants. We have plenty of kai in our garden...we have a huge garden with 600,000 acres of bush in the Urewera.
