Yaaaayyyy, glad to see this is back. I used to love watching these late at night before goin to sleep. Looking at the AI it actually seemed pretty advanced for its time: from the way they would move, flanking or tactical strategies, their callouts and reactions mid-fight, all they way down to the fairly realistic death animations. All of it making the immersion of the game, and these videos, all the more entertaining to watch (albeit some goofy/random moments from time to time, but that’s the fun of video games haha). No problem. Currently working on another one. I also love these videos/battles the most probably. They just don't usually get lots of views that's all.
@@kibblz Agree with both of you fine folks; these videos seem to take 3x the work, look amazing and so cool (i also use them before sleep for some weird reason LOL), but have 0.5x the view count. Sorry kibblz, that sucks. Of course, make other videos to keep sustaining yourself (youtube is a racket and you need to feed yourself) but know that us hardcore fans appreciate these videos the most!
seems like that particular NPC model has an issue with its arm; there's a chance that in the real game, its only used in a cutscene and/or as a ragdoll with the arm disabled, which would explain the issue and/or why it was never fixed, hahaha.
Your Max Payne stuff is always the best, seriously. Nothing beats this game in terms of bullet dynamics and realistic fights. Only thing that makes some stuff less cinematic is that the NPC AI allows them to see through walls, but all the rest of the stuff makes up for it. Thanks kibblz!
Thanks. Yeah, that’s right. They generally are just aiming in the direction of the other team regardless of what’s in front. This game is not easy to mod either lol. I have something very exciting for the next video to show off though. It’s gonna be action packed.
@@kibblz Awesome good sir; I program for my day job, and I love your videos so much that I am tempted to download a copy of this game, and see if I can build some custom scripts for you. It seems like you figured out how to use infinite bullettime, so i don't need to build out a custom dll for you to do that, but ill see if there are other "hooks" left in the code upfront, and if any other engineers left a decompile program to expose more of the main systems for camera angles, NPC behavior, and other stuff. Thank you for the hard work, I know this game is friggen tricky to mod and to build off of; i am amazed at your progress so far, honeslty.
This reminded me that AUP faction is based on real life Colombian paramilitary group United Self-Defense (AUC), judging by their language, woodland camouflage and black brassards.
@@DjCyberZonex it’s already on my very long list of battles to do 👍🏼 Didn’t you hear? They cancelled remaster of GTA 4 to focus on GTA 6 which I’m happy about. GTA 6 NPC Wars will be great.
Unfortunately no. The games are just too old for my taste and the AI isn’t too great from what I know. I mean look at my Far Cry 6 video. I tend to stick with just Rockstar games because the AI is good.
The only thing i don't like about Max Payne is that You can't make battles with all the factions because some don't spawn on the same map as others, is there a way to do it?
You can spawn any if you know how to. There’s just not many factions in this game that’s why I keep using the same ones. There’s some from multiplayer but those ones don’t work properly for battles.
Alright, forget about Teddy Brown’s Boy. How about having Dutch’s Gang team up with Jessica LeClerk, Horley, and other online characters against the US Army or the Army of Darkness. Does this one suffice?
I don't even feel like doing any RDR2 videos to be honest man. If I even do more RDR2 videos it will just be things like US Army, Wapiti Indians (Natives) and some stuff like that. I was never a big western fan. I really prefer modern day stuff like GTA and Max Payne. I need to actually enjoy and feel motivated to do these you know. If someone makes a request and I don't like it, I most likely won't do it. Just saying how I feel man, not trying to bring you down. In fact, Max Payne 3 is probably my favorite game to do for NPC Wars. I've also mentioned that RDR2 has lower views in general these days compared to my GTA 5 videos so I need to do what's best for the channel. You know you could always just get yourself a decent PC, learn how to use mods and do it yourself if you want to so bad.
@@kibblz I would if I could, but I can't afford it right now, otherwise I wouldn't be asking you. Anyway, in case you didn't notice, I mentioned the US Army in my last comment, and as for the low views thing, one of the reasons behind that is because you're solely relying on RU-vid to do all the work instead of sharing any of these videos on Discord, or letting anyone else share them on the latter, or even Facebook or Twitter. You may think that RU-vid is enough, but that's not always the case. Now I know you're probably going to say no to this too but how about a video of the US Army vs the Del Lobo Gang, it would be like recreating the Border War in which the US Army went up against Poncho Villa and his army of revolutionaries.
