It’s literally like I’m stalking you…lol, I now have joined you on TicTok, Instagram and now RU-vid. This will be my 1st topper and just ordered this one but in 12”. Btw, thanks for providing all this content, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it has caused my hair to thin and fall out and I’m getting married in September so this was a blessing that I stumbled upon you today. Question: Does your stylist cut your toppers with it on your head or does she/he have a base that they use? And did you ask for a specific cut so I can ask my stylist to do the same cut because they did a fantastic job!!! Thank you again

Hi there. I found you on tiktok. So I jumped over to RU-vid. Love your info. I have been thing about a topper for a good year. But never made the jump. Love the topper you reviewed but I am a side part girl. So I'm working on that. Lol. It also saw that you do Demi makeup. I would love to get some of that too which is purple under my eyes. Holly Rep Uniwigs has this topper in a left part option too, but I believe the longest length for side part is only 14 inches versus 16 shown here. Hope that helps 🙂

I was convinced you couldn’t get prettier when I watched your video when you had blonde hair but here you are as a brunette and it’s stunning. I bought the Savannah after my consult with you, then the left part Aura. Just watched your review on the upgrade Aura. I have this Aura with the front clip and am at a loss on how to replace the clip with a comb on the skin top. You mentioned in the new review that you switched yours out on this one. What are your tips on doing that on a skin top topper?

Lacie, it seems absolutely amazing on you! My question is whether when I order this topper from uniwig they could style it exactly like yours (long bangs and layers)? Is it possible (under customized topper, or how exactly)? Secondly, As I don't have a baby hair at the front to hide the point where the topper attaches my hairline- could you please provide me with a tip or accessory that uniwig might provide (like an invisible tape to attach the topper in the front)? Q: At the frontmost 1/4” or so of the parting area are there hairs injected into it to help it blend with biohair hairline? Or is it plucked/hard front line of demarcation? Thank you so much for all you do. You are my absolute favorite helper hair channel! 🤍

Hi Lacie, I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos! Everyone is correct, you give clear and informative advice. I bought a topper from another outfit, and it gorgeous but too much hair for me. It’s my first one, and I should have gone with something lighter. I’m considering uniwigs because of the price point they carry. I already spent a lot for the other Topper, so i have to be careful with this next one😔. Do you prefer this Aura to the Claire topper you’ve reviewed? My front hairline is very thin. I’ve watched other women blend their thin hairlines so well……but i just can’t seem to make it look natural. I think the Claire has a lace front?? Which also scares me, but I love the way this Aura looks on you. I’m hoping i can position it just slightly to the right, the way I normally part my hair. So many questions!! 🙂

Hey Martha! So sorry you’re not loving the piece you bought 😢 the Claire does have a lace front. I had a fringe cut into mine so I wouldn’t have to worry about the lace showing because it isn’t the highest quality lace but I love how comfortable it is because there’s nothing in the front and I never have to blend it with my own hair. The aura is great but you do need to blend it with your bio hair in the front which can be challenging if your hairline is a little weaker. How does this part compares to a silk top? Which one would be more natural looking?

Silk toppers have a very realistic scalp. There are other ones that are still realistic too. This one can be worked with fibers or left alone.🙂

Hi! I have very, very fine hair. Like, cotton fine. I have a topper from the Lauren Ashton collection that I wear a lot. It’s pretty but so heavy. I feel the difference in the size of the hair strand is noticeable. Cotton vs. fishing wire. 🤷🏼‍♀️ (Just my take. 😏) Is there a brand that you like with a softer, smaller strand of hair? I hope I’m asking the question correctly. So glad I found your TikTok which led me to your RU-vid!

Hey there! I know that there is definitely a difference in hair coarseness although Lauren Ashtyn is supposed to be high quality European which is the finest of all types. So that’s interesting that you felt like it was very coarse 🤔 I’m not sure why that would be. Personally I think it ends up just depending on the company. My favorite hair is from my silk top from www.tosshaircollection.com. It’s Brazilian hair.

Can you add highlights to this topper? I purchased this in the Truffle Brown but it looks a bit dark for my skin tone. You look gorgeous in it BTW. Thanks for your help, wedding less than 3 weeks

So exciting! Technically you *can* add highlights but I wouldn’t recommend it. The hair has probably already been processed so adding highlights could further damage the integrity of the hair. This could result in very dry, brittle, and/or frizzy hair. You could test a small area underneath to see how it reacts first.

Wow, the Aura looks great on you. I currently have a 130 density Uniwigs silk top & I find it’s too much hair for me so I think this might be a good alternative. Have you washed this topper? The hair looks lovely, fluffy, light & SO realistic. My current one seems so shiny & heavy and I feel it looks more fake so I’m really put off wearing it.

I have washed it yes. The hair is decent quality, tangles a bit more than some more luxe pieces I have but for the price it’s soooo worth it! The density IS super realistic too 🙌🏼

Do you think the front would pull forward enough to do a blunt bang if I can't blend it with my hairline? I think you could do a small amount of blunt bangs but wouldn’t want to take too much of the wefting on the sides. The skin top area is fine to pull forward, it’s the wefting on the sides of it that would make it harder. But I think it’s doable 👍🏼

I can try but I don’t think backcombing will do much because of all the wetted hair and the fact that the parting area is so small. But I could still pull it up in a pony 👍🏼

Depends on what you want done and who the stylist is. It’s really best to have them cut it while it’s on your head to blend it in with your bio hair. But adding simple face framing layers can be done without you wearing it.

Hi Nikola! This one won’t offer a lot of volume unfortunately. It sits very flat. It will add more hair but because most of it is wefting, the hair lays very flat. I would recommend a monotop for more volume. I just reviewed one the other day. It’s my newest video 👍🏼

@@lacie.rodriguez I'm new to toppers so I don't even know where to start! I'll watch your new video! The reason why I dont like wearing traditional clip-ins anymore is because since my hair is so fine it gets harder and harder to add enough clip ins in the back to have a full look (because my own hair isn't think enough to cover them) so I've been looking for toppers now since I just want the back to look nice and blended (which has been extremely difficult to do with clip-ins or halo extensions) Unfortunately my hair is just too thin. For example, my hair only grows really like 8-10 inches so if I have enough 14 or 16 in clip ins then you can see where the part is between my hair and the extensions. So toppers it is lol! If you have any other recommendations please let me know!

It’s similar to a silk top but less fabric. I believe it has to do with the way the hair is tied on.

I just bought this topper I received two days ago. No, it doesn’t have lace in the front. I don’t think you need to tape it down it sits very flat. I love this topper, it’s the nicest and most realistic looking one so far that I’ve purchased. I like the way Lacie has hers cut so I’m going to get mine cut like that too.

No lace in the front but I’ve seen people add a strip of PU to the front of toppers so they can tape them. I replaced mine with a comb now and it’s much more comfortable 👍🏼

I have this topper and absolutely LOVE it. But their website left out a detail, this topper is made with Burmese hair, so when it’s washed it returns to its natural texture which is curly, very beautiful curls but beware if you are wanting it straight Aura will needed to be completely flat ironed every time it’s washed.Just an FYI 🙂

Great observation! Although I don’t think that’s true for every piece. My friend’s piece was curly too but mine isn’t. I think there is variety from piece to piece which makes it hard to trust what you’re getting.

But now I have to flat iron Aura every time I shampoo or even get caught in the rain 😳. I plan on ordering the Aura left part too, I’ll let you know what I get lol. Mine had a note on the box saying it was Burmese, did yours?

I wanna ask you something.. doesn't it feel very irritating to wear wigs everyday? or one just gets the habit,, i guess there some stay some fear.. like if it gets pulled accidentally or everyday till alive doing the same thing, u can't even lay on bed wearing a wig, i heard

A topper is just to enhance your hair when you want to. It clips on and off pretty easily. So you should never sleep in it because it would pull and damage your bio hair. My toppers don’t normally irritate me. I think it’s more comfortable than a wig personally because I’m able to leave my hair down.

If that’s the case I would go with a wig instead. Or at least a clipless topper from Thin Hair Thick 👍🏼
