This performance is part of a one hour live concert in the Nidarosdomen in Trondheim, Norway. The Nidarosdomen is the northern most medieval cathedral in Europe. Aurora's family did not know she sang before she was 14 years old. About the Nidarosdomen concert. Nidaros cathedral (Nidarosdomen in Norwegian, and you did great on your pronunciation) is the northern most gothic cathedral in the world. Aurora and her songs dos not have any religious affiliations, and she had a concert in the cathedral as an extended part of a music festival where all kinds of artist preform in Niadrosdomen. Every single song Aurora preformed in the Nidarosdomen concert is stunning, and you can not go wrong reacting to any of them. I especially recommend the masterpiece It Happened Quiet and Lucky which Aurora wrote when she was 9 years old. Aurora is magical no matter the setting no doubt . But she was more reserved than normal at this show to see her in her element type in Aurora ( Live on the Honda Stage ) you should get all song videos from the show on your screen . This entire Christmas concert (season - not themed) performed mere inches from the spot where the Royalty of Norway have been crowned over the centuries in this wonderful medieval cathedral is by far at another level - one of the best performances on all the internet by anyone I dare say. The video entitled "AURORA - Live in Nidarosdomen [Full concert]" is definitely worth watching in its entirety (with the captions turned on to catch Aurora's occasional "chit chat"). Not far down in the comment section is a time code list of the songs. "Nature Boy", "Walking in the Air", and "Life on Mars" are covers, and I believe the rest are all hers. The intro and entrance of the organ in her song "Lucky" is of particularly exceptional beauty. I believe she was under orders to "behave herself" for the use of such a revered venue which (I believe the ending of "Soft Universe" that you just played) was about as "Nordic Tribal" as she got.

I don't think AURORA had any specific religious reason to perform in that dome. The most likely reason would be that most domes have remarkable acoustics.
