Aurora, now 26, started writing melodies from age 6, words started coming when she was 9. She started ballet lessons at age 6 and had progressed into expressive dance by age 16. She has been touring the world since age 17 and has a huge global fan base. She's not one to be taken over by celebrity status like so many mainstream artists. She very down to earth and takes time for her fans that are called "Warriors and Weirdos". Great reaction to Aurora, hope to see some more, thanks.
That Nidarosdomen concert is easily one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen in my life...and I'm counting the times I saw Tool and The White Stripes live *_in person._* Nidarosdomen was actually the very first thing I ever saw/heard of Aurora. When I hit play I had zero clue who she was....and one hour later I felt like a truly changed person, just BUZZING with inspiration and emotional catharsis. Been a huge huge fan ever since I first saw that back in March of 2020....right at the start of pandemic lockdown.
She is a lyrical and musical genius, she hunts for sounds to get the effect she wants in her music. She loves to dance, so expressive (Aurora = performance art you could say) and she is very artistic in other ways too. Loved your reaction. oh yeah, fun fact, she calls her songs her children
Great reaction man! How much you have to see. She is 100% dedicated to music not very interested in the sideeffect of fame and glory. There are only few artist out there in her league. She is pure talent
Very nice reaction. And I just LOVE this performance. Beautiful voice, beautiful song, so much energy and also as always she is very expressive and take attention. :) She also has her own way and this way she stand out with her music as it is not so easy to compare (of course you can but with her it is not easy to find another similar artist :) ). And i agree she is like walking art or definition of artist (even outside stage) :).
Very nice reaction🤗 This is an amazing performance, this whole concert is epic👍 Another great song from this concert is “Churchyard” The song was inspired by domestic violence, and in the end she (the victim) comes back to haunt the one that hurt/killed her So this means your a “Warrior and Weirdo” (what she call her fans) like the rest of us?👍🥰 This girl has it all, she writes beautiful music, has an awesome personality, I could go on and on, I love her so much 💕 Btw, for years she used to cut her own hair with a pizza scissor, looks great 😎
In early 2000's Norway's government gave a HUGE yearly budget to develop Artists and talents. I think this is why so many Norwegian amazing artists are slowly breaking through. Loved the video.
Huge Aurora fan here.... And nice Sevendust shirt lol. Sevendust was actually the first concert I ever saw. It was in my hometown of Johnson City, TN sometime back around 2000 or so. Not sure exactly when...but I was like 16 or so. It was some small sweaty loud dark club PACKED with people. I remember the intro music before they walked out was Alice in Chains' album Dirt. It was such a fun and intense first live show. Still have fond memories over that....
Love this little concert, and Aurora clearly had a lot of fun. I often plan on just watching the first song ("Churchyard"), but end up watching the whole thing. Her music video's are good, but she's even better live. Anything from this concert, Live at the Honda Stage, The Nidarosdomen concert or The Nobel Peace Prize concert is highly recommended, but she also has really nice acoustic/stripped performances.
She is connected to nature...trees, mountains....the Scandinavian...experience...blonde hair blue..eyes.....a forrest nymph...feminine and vulnerable...and child like...😅
Now you're into female Norwegian singers, I would like to suggest reacting to fellow Norwegian star Sigrid. AURORA and Sigrid are close friends, being the same age and having signed with the same artist manager. Sigrid's ballads "Dynamite" and "Home To You" or the up-tempo songs like "Strangers" and "It Gets Dark" are good introductions to start with.
If you haven't reviewed her song "Runaway" music video, you might want to. It's where most people start. And if you want to see her talk more, check out any number of her interviews. She's very entertaining.
You have to check out >Live "It happend quite" at the Current AND >Live "Through the eyes of a child" at the Nidarosdomen Cathedral Concert AND >Live "Lucky" at the Nidarosdomen Cathedral Concert AND >Live "Murder Song 54321" at the Noble Peace Price Concert FROM AURORA :-) PURE ART AS CAN BE!!
She's great and KEXP has some great live stuff. You should check out War on drugs - Pain (official). I think you would dig it. Local band here in Philly
@@heidifarstadkvalheim4952 aurora is an admirer of susanne eversince. she stood next to susanne, admiring her, when susanne received the nrk p3 radio award in 2014
well, this is all nice and so on, but apparently you don't know eivor yet. falling free live at the old theater in torshavn would be a classic song for a reaction. she outshines effortlessly everything you have listened before, including aurora, angelina and whoelse.
You reacted to Helvegen the other day by Kalandra - Aurora and Wardruna perform this live at Bergenhus Fortress in Norway and it is equally hypnotic - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FnkTuHP9q3o.html - 😱🔥 Aurora's full live concert at Nidarosdomen Cathedral is magnificent!!! ☮️❤️Sea Point, Cape Town
