This new Album is fantastic. (And it's off the "Gods we can touch" Album)

Great song and performance too. I also love the poetic lyrics and meaning of song. Thank you for a reaction. Ps. Although it is not from Everything Matters album but from the album "The Gods We Can Touch". "Everything Matters" is only the name of song:).

Aurora and Pomme : 2 of the most authentic artists of the new generation, 2 of the most amazing voices as well. Aurora is already an international star and Pomme is now following the same path. Let me thus try to introduce Pomme to the community: Her real name is Claire Pommet and her stage name is Pomme which means Apple in french. She is 25 yo, from Lyon in France, and is multi-talented : amazing voice, great instrumentalist (she plays guitar, autoharp, piano, cello, vocoder, banjo, synthetizer, …), and she composed and wrote most of her songs. 2 songs from her first album are from her and she composed/wrote ALL her songs in the second album "Les Failles". She erupted on the french musical scene about 5 years ago, and has released 2 albums so far, working on the release of the 3rd one. She is getting a lot of recognition in France, she has won the Best Newcomer Album award in Les Victoires de la musique 2020 (France music award ceremony) and she has won the Best Female Artist award in the 2021 edition. She starts to be recognized on the international scene as well: - Aurora is a fan of her (Pomme also is a fan of Aurora) and Pomme was the first featuring on an Aurora album (wonderful duet called "Everything matters") and they started a nice friendship, we can expect some additional collab in the future. - Billie Eilish also stated she is a fan: when she was on french TV, she talked about Pomme and ask Pomme to text her so they can get in touch. Later Pomme said they did. Again Pomme is a fan of Billie and made a very beautiful french cover of Bad Guy. She plays autoharp since she is 14 yo, she explained she discovered this instrument as an absolute fan of the folk and country music ( fan of Joan Baez, Dolly Parton, ...) She defines her music as Authentic, Acoustic and Sad. She said there is always hope in her songs however. For some of her songs, hope is visible at the surface and some others, you have to dig down. Her lyrics are poetic, she loves to leave room for personal interpretation and reinterpretation. This is something she discussed with Aurora recently in a live stream and they were both in the same direction here (as for many other things BTW). You can check this incredible conversation (in english, after the first couple minutes from Pomme in french): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mOQWFUkXrM0.html - . Thank you for the introduction and song list, Pomme is a very talented artist with a beautiful voice. I definitely hope that they continue to collaborate. Only to become international successful /recognized she needs to produce/publish her songs (also) in english.

Oh I only knew "Les Oiseaux" beforehand, where she plays this cool instrument in the church. I listened now to "La lumière", very melodic and relaxing. And I will definitely listen to more from your list. French is a beautiful language (esp. for women), unluckily I forgot nearly everything the little I learnt in school.

@@Smaugyyy great La lumière speaks poetically of a very painful subject: someone who forgets everything because he suffers from Alzheimer disease. And she found very nice and comforting words to describe it. She is also amazing as a songwriter.

Nice reaction 👍 They are a perfect match😍 In the audio version Pomme only sings the french part, but this is very beautiful 😍😍😍 About the song: Interviewed by Bedroomdisco, Aurora said: "I wrote it a long time ago, quite early in the process and I already knew with that song that it was a part of the vibration that I wanted the album to be. To me it's about - which is an important keyword for me, because it can be about something different for everyone -, but it's about two things. If you listen very carefully, it's a beautiful and a sad story. There's something ominous about it too. But also something extremely beautiful. It's about these people, the you and them me in the song, and they are going through something which forces them to think about life differently and they look at each other and they look around themselves and they just grasp that time is slipping out of their fingers too quickly. I look at everything and am imagining in the end of the song they drive this car out to a sunset and they watch one very last sunset together and... there's a fear that you miss out on all the beautiful things. There is so much beauty in this world, the small things as well." On a livestream by Pomme, Aurora further recounted how their collaboration came to be: "I made my album in a castle in Norway, and it has French history. And this man lived in this castle like hundreds of years ago, and he was French, Marcus Gerhard. And he loved art and music and he celebrated and invited people, and I thought it would be a nice way to honour this French castle by having you." Aurora later explained to Apple Music: "I don't normally do features. I knew a bit about [Pomme] because she's extremely sweet and very talented. I wanted to include some Frenchness on the opening song as a gift to the castle that gave me a lot of the inspiration to finish this album. I asked her if she could write the ending of my song in French, and she wrote a beautiful story about the flowers we picked in all of your favourite places. It is an ode to Baroniet (Baroness) Rosendal." Could you please react to the mini concert at KEXP Iceland 2018? If not, please react to “All is soft inside” and “Churchyard” from that concert. It’s one of her best concerts, and she’s funny in between songs 🤗😍😍
