I love American culture. the girls are so friendly and wave. they even come up to cars for a chat with travellers. They all have a unique look and individual sender of fashion. what a wonderful city.

Many, many years ago as a single young man I would be in admiration of those 'babes'! The years had caught up with me a while back and now I see unfortunate young woman, sisters, nieces, kids who have reduced themselfs to selling their bodies risking disease and or worse to satisfy the lust of men who care not the damage they do. That is depressing!

Omigosh! What has changed? I lived in Seattle for a year in the 90s and it wasn't like that. The Seattle Police Department was then and today a small department, numerically, but still back in the 90s they kept the streets clear of streetwalkers. Western Washington State, being cloudy, cool-to-cold, damp, and sometimes rainy, was not thought to be conducive for streetwalkers, but here they are, and one was wearing a black, skimpy bikini. The area looks more run-down and decrepit than I remember it. What has become of Washington State, much less Seattle? Seattle and Washington State, you've got great politicians, just like California.
Very much an agenda....trying to paint Seattle and Blue states as bad places to live because of these things. Aurora is only one road and that specific stretch is like 3 miles long. Every city has a street like this. These problems are a symptom of a bigger problem in society in that humans are learning to stop caring about others. It is all Me, Myself and I.
Yeah, I'm not sure if this is a "Look at Seattle's Hookers" video or a "Look at the Squalor in Lefty Seattle" video, but it's hardly representative of the city, just the grubby parts.

Drive a little south the iHop has the best selection. They even work the 911 off duty police driving school area, my kids took lessons there and they warned us about the Ladies working the area. Congrats Seattle your just as messed up as San Francisco
I used to go to that St. Vinnies a lot before it closed because the nasty Chinese flu. That side street seemed to be kind of a rally point for the "ladies."
2nd point, why are not the Seattle PD harassing them? There’s obviously unwritten rules. And, they know the cops. And, they apparently assist the cops with crimes in that area as look out, and information busting bigger drug crimes, etc. another words “You help us, abide by a few unwritten rules, and we go easy.” Besides, busting these girls unnecessarily does nothing but scatter them 20 blocks away, in different directions. You want all the eggs in on basket. I’m only trying to point out how the system is viewing this. Personally, the girls have a choice to do what the want; despite how I my feel about their futures, but it’s their business and choice.
