She's just stunning in acoustic setting. The light instrumentation enhances perfectly well her gorgeous and so expressive raw vocals... sometimes I feel like I could live linked to the matrix, watching her acoustic performances until the end of my time... well, better it doesn't happen, I... guess?😅 About "La ,La ,La", she has an older performance, that you can watch privately to compare, if you wish (in any case, do listen to Sam Smith's version one time to really grasp her work): AURORA - La La La (Naughty Boy cover): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qgTdhIkK_K4.html Anyway, thanks for this nice reaction Aurora, this amazing acoustic Queen.🙂👍
Aurora is making everything better, one song at a time. Exist For Love is just a masterpiece. I had heard her cover La La La before and didn’t know she also performed it here. Her version is much better than the original - of course.
React to HAIK and I promise your tears will flow,it’s Aurora being her unquestionably unique self from beginning to end,she just pulls you in to her world even deeper and the lasso that she already has around your heart gets even tighter for you see why her music for her is more important than being on top of a billboard chart,it’s absolutely about her music being a medicine for everyone.HAIK is more than just a concert it’s a day in the life of the most humble Human soul you could ever wish to meet and to be enjoyed over and over.❤️
Exist for love really feels like an old fashion Disney love song... Regarding her covers.. Everything she touches turn to gold. She truly has the Midas touch..
Her covers _always_ blow me away. She often chooses songs I already love....Massive Attack's Teardrop & Alanis Morisette's Thank U being prime examples. But she also often covers songs I either don't like or never felt much of anything about...and then she'll recontextualize it in the most stunningly beautiful way. Believer, Rasputin, God is a Woman, and _this_ very Sam Smith song are all examples. The Sam Smith version is fine...it's a good song, but it doesn't really connect with me much. But her version here? Blew me away. I've been a super mega hyper fan of hers for 3+ years now...and I'm kinda kicking myself for only listening to this cover now. It's so good...
Good morning, what a great way to start the day. A beautiful set of songs to enjoy a coffee to. I ❤ Aurora Tuesday and your reactions to her. Can’t wait for the next post take care ❤
Pretty cool of Christine to essentially make this part a celebration of Aurora, even though it was her own farewell show. You can tell that she really cares for Aurora. I really like their chemistry together. You're going to love the HAIK documentary and concert, once you get around to it. Christine was an awesome host.
Said it so often... and say it again, Ashlena ; "HAIK full documentary (English subtitles)" is defintely a MUST watch and react to ! Although it's 70 minutes long.
@@troedelgerry I actually prefer the Once doc....partly because you get _such_ a behind the scenes look at that very specific moment of her life. Touring the first album...going into making the second. That's kinda the time where she fully came into her own as an artist and person. But the HAIK doc is definitely essential viewing. :)
Aurora gets into your soul and takes a little with her. She is so addictive I never get tired of listening to her voice. I would listen to her read the dictionary in any language.
Thank you for this reaction of the full festival. Its a lovely sunny spring afternoon here, and i got to watch this by the pool. Looking forward to the Haik TV program and concert! P.S. Your doing better than I. Aurora often makes me cry, especially when she was talking about Sofia. That dear child has left us now but we remember her. She wanted her art in the louvre. Aurora, Askell and many others made it happen.
I was in a mood yesterday, sorry for the channel spamming. But! We're off to see a fairly well-known group of Irish lads, who have taken up temporary residency at the Las Vegas Mega Sphere, on December 14th. We just decided it was a once in a lifetime event. The venue, the band. I've seen them before. In my youth, from the long and long ago. Bono and I, same generation.
. Best lifetime concert experience? Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Aims Iowa. Darkness on the Edge of Town Tour They performed for over 5 hours. The venue turned the lights on in the arena tostop the show.
All right you "Patreons", join this Super Thanker, and let's lean into her on this one. Once Aurora- The Documentary She's shy with this one. It's to (cough) long. But she's been going a bit long-form the past two Tuesdays. Once Aurora in Three Parts - An Aurora Tuesdays Multiweek Event. Kinds rolled off the tongue. She's received the Admission fee. The tickets are on the table.lets motivate her. It's Aurora's Origin Story.
Or, the "get away from Mr. Persistence" constellation prize. A Different Kind of Human - Somewhere Elsr Festival 2020. I sounds a bit like a scratched record on this one.
I knew about these single live sessions, but not that Christine was there to talk to her too. I will go and review it in full as soon as possible. As usual ty for your kind reaction Ashlena! HAIK documentary when you can please!!!😁
Oh nice! I really needed this today.... Glad you're doing a nice long one. I worked the past 8 of 9 days. And yesterday...FINALLY had a day off, and was so looking forward to it. And then...my neighbor's plumbing problems caused drain water to start seeping up through my drain. If I hadn't been there to ladle it, my entire place would have been flooded. SUCH a stressful day. And then work today was beyond exhausting. But I'm finally home, showered, cozy....and relaxed. And then I see this. So, thank you! It may seem little...a mere reaction video. But it sure is what I needed today. :)
This was fantastic again. I always cant wait till it is tuesday again. HAIK would be fantastic too (perhaps in more parts) . It contains the most beautiful version of "Warrior"
I've never actually seen the part where she talks about Doja Cat crying to Exist For Love. I love Doja Cat, and I loved her even more when I found out she was a big Aurora fan. I also love that Aurora doesn't care who likes her music, as long as they are enjoying it. Christine always cries when she watches Aurora. You can tell just how special Aurora is to her.
Yup lluv these two Bergen Viking Dames......well...you already know that, what Christine did on the HAIK gig was my first contact with her good that someone is pushing this great Nordic Art........great job Lady Ash spread the word this will be a better World if more people have access and know Aurora I'm convinced Gracias Ashlena eres la mejor!
The original "Fantastic Four" that started out together in Jan 2014 when Aurora was 17. They played together at the "by:Larm 2014" festival on Feb 28th and March 1st when they were barely ready, but they got 6/6 reviews in papers and Aurora was really "discovered" here.
Hi there my fellow human, I found Aurora several years ago ago was chocked. She has a absolute "clean" voice, saw her in Stockholm when she was here. Love from Sweden 🥰
Such a great reaction to a very special, mutual admiration show. The very endearing, humble Aurora is a very "special kind of human". Your hair looks marvelous darling, see you on the next Aurora reaction. 😍
"Exist" is one of the great love songs. When I saw her perform this, last year, it was, of course, different. She sang it to us, her audience. A room full of joy.
More vault diving. Omg I absolutely adore “Exist for Love” (she better sing it in December!). The harmonies had me melting ❤ The acoustic guitars on the 2nd song were awesome. Thanks, Ash.
