All the beautiful things you said about Aurora and more. Great song to end a concert and go home satisfied and happy. Unless you wait a little longer and then talk outside a little with her. In the beginning she didn't want to perform the song, but that was at a time when she had problems with concerts in general and that some important people wanted to talk her into it and change her. Since that was the song that broke the barrel. There were quarrel backstage, where sentences like >> If I can't be who I am on stage, why perform at all?
If you want to see more of her dancing, the music video for "Apple tree" shows her choreographed dancing with her dancers . Plus, the video is very visually eye opening (you'll see) Also, it is a completely different sound than you've heard so far (which of course will not surprise you) There are too many for me to suggest, because they are all so different and wonderful in their own way. Some I prefer live, and others I just love the music video (Like apple tree and winter bird. Both music videos are just too good not to see) Anyway, just put them on your long list. You have much more fantastic stuff to see.
If you want to see her lively and LIVE performance of this song, she debuted CONQUEROR on THE TONIGHT SHOW with Jimmy Fallon! She was fabulous and left the stage to get her energy out... DANCING EVERYWHERE! That was the start of my AURORA Journey back in 2014! And if you see the story in the Music Video... she realized she didn't need the Conqueror as the Power was in her ALL ALONG!😘
Aurora just has so much energy stuffed inside of her. It's a fun song but she said that she hates it because her management pressured her to make it. Now she doesn't hate it as much but it's definitely her least favorite song. Besides all that, you should react to the music video "Apple Tree". Aurora choreographed it herself! It's so interesting because it stands out from all her other songs. You'll understand what I mean when you see it....
That is the case guys. If she wants to put a smile in your face she does it! If she wants you to cry a river the very next moment it, s a piece of cake!

Among artists and in the music industry the Norwegian singer AURORA is synonymous with quality, and she can fill a record with masterpieces time and time again. I was so hoping you would have used her performance of Conquerer that she did on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon". It was her very first televised performance in the U.S. This one is great too, her smile and dancing are just infectious to see.

have you seen the documentary "once aurora" on vimeo? very interesting. there you can see that her management more or less forced her to do this song because it's so radio compatible and she really dislikes it. she don't want to play it during her concerts.

This my be the only song that don't have a deep meaning behind it... It was written "for fun" by her and 2 guys in her band. She might not have been SO happy about it, and the management may have pressured her a bit too hard to include and promote this song.... It ended in she stop including it, and she has said she hates it... She also told her management that if she had to give out music she did not want to again, she would quit. I think it is a pitty.... I think it is a good song, and happy. Don't have to be super deep every time 😎. I hope she learn to love it again. (my opinion / info are based on several intervjues, the documentary "en gang Aurora", and the makers story about making the documentary.)
I have the same info and I tend to agree with you - I have enjoyed this "Aurora goes momentarily nonsense on us" ever since I saw her pretty much debut it on Jimmi Fallon (?). But I also get her pretty awesome artistic integrity and vision. If she feels it is not her own baby, she must do what she has to do. (Ps Once Aurora is repriesing on NRK1 at midnight in case you want to watch or tape it (though I assume you have already has it on file, my friend 😀)
@@glacieractivity I think there is sides of the story that we don't know.... it may explain why..... The documentary are on NRK online archive, I have seen it several times.... The first time was really before I dived deeper into her music. Then when I re-discovered her, and then after the intervjue with the makers.... more from a "how they did it" perspective 🙂
@@RunarNyrud I always assume there are things we do not know 🙂. I have written quite a few scientific papers in my life. There are always passionate "behind the scenes" events when being in a "band". Thus I never blame, I just accept the reality that came out of it.
