This has been my favorite Foo Fighters song since I first heard it in '99. I had just arrived at my first duty station in Virginia when this album came out. I remember going to the electronics section at the base exchange and buying it. I was excited for it. I didn't really know many people since I had just gotten there, so those were lonely times. My music and my guitar were my companions most of the time. I played this song on repeat for days. It still gives me the same feeling today that it did back then. I cannot believe that it was 23 years ago. I would love to be able to go back and experience one of those days. Regardless of the loneliness. Like a little mini vacation to my past. In a small way, I guess that that is what I do every time that I listen to the song.
