Nidaros Cathedral is a cathedral of the Church of Norway located in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county. It was built over a 230-year period, from 1070 to 1300. It is built over the burial site of King Olav II, who became the patron saint of the nation, and is the traditional location for the consecration of new kings of Norway.
"when a human strokes you're skin" My first thought when listening to that lyric was (and abv hearing her other songs) "Shes not human!", but lately i have realised she is human. She is the human we should all strive to become. Her purity and wholesomeness is what lies inn all of us, we just need to find it and bring it forth...
The best concert ever with the best artist and performer - and the very best reactor 🤩🥰 Thank you so much ❤️🙏 It was a great pleasure to watch it with you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AURORA 🎉❤️
I love how happy and open Aurora has made you. She makes me feel 100% the same. So much weight now lifted from your shoulders. I just feel lucky my short time alive coincided with Aurora's. The probability was so very small. I've seen so many reactions but identify with yours the most. It's a genuine pleasure..
Just watched her live at The Royal Albert Hall London and it was amazing. She has progressed again since this , if thats possible lol , and i was so in awe of her i have just bought tickets to see her next may at Wembley Arena London. An extraordinary girl in an ordinary world.
I salut you for spreading the love. You created a safe place to come back to whenever I want or need to. Your channel lately became a part of my daily routine with the greatest music and your clear and positive messages. I feel we are very likeminded, but you have the better way of expressing yourself in English, which is not my native language. So I'll pass on that one. Trust me, your words are very respected. This very special concert has brought me to my knees multiple times now. I became addicted. Aurora is that shaman-like entity I find my inner peace by. She heals by just being her authentic self. What an example to the searchers among us. Much love and respect to you, HCR. 💖
When you said it's something about this building that makes it so magical... I mean- that's kind of the whole point of why people built such a space. It's so their voices could be heard and reach the heavens. It's designed for magical music.
Thank you for this. I have Watched this conert manny time. But its so nice to watched whit your comment. Its what Auroa hope for whit her songs. Just what you talk about. 👍🙏
Help!! Aurora is killing me!! Because everytime I hear her sing I am holding my breath and I am hyperventilating. It is so beautyful artistic work and performances that words are not able to describe it. Love her. Thanks a lot for sharing Aurora to the world.
Aurora's birthday is coming up again, so I'm happy to watch this again. I've watched this concert many times, and it never ceases to blow me away, no matter how familiar I am with it. I truly believe it's one of the best performances ever recorded, regardless of genre. It's just insane how good it is, from start to finish.
Thank you for another great reaction! Lots of great comments! This concert is just a magical masterpiece. Aurora, Thank you for the music and for being you. Happy birthday❤️
Another great one! Enjoyed watching the concert with you. I've been in the Cathedral a couple of times, but never at a concert there. It's truly a magnificant space. Would travel the 7-8 hour journey in a heart beat, if she ever gets to perform there again.
I don't know if she will ever get inn there again. This is the cathedral where the King and Queen are crowned. She is however having another concert outside this very cathedral 1. August and I have my ticket ready! I'm a pretty recent discoverer of Aurora my self, just before the summer, but one thing is sure, if there is a concert near me (Trondheim is 3 hours away) i'm not missing it!
I hope the congregation at Nidarosdomen realizes just how great this concert was, and invites her to sing there again! If not, there are plenty of cathedrals all through northern Europe and throughout the world.
The quiver in her voice during Lucky at the point "....what lies behind"; and then her face at the end of it. Wow. She conveys her feelings and my own in such a raw and genuine way. This version of this song brings me to tears at the crescendo and "time to let go..." every single time. This concert is what made me love everything Aurora does. It's probably one of the greatest live performances and productions ever. And I am a metal, punk, rock, rap, indie guy usually. It's mesmerizing
seeing your emotions through this reaction makes me varm and glad. I would like to meet you in person but from a distance I know that I like you and what you stand for. Keep it up HxC. I'll for one will be there.
What's not to love about Aurora. Aurora IS love. She radiates. She is utterly divine! I want to miniaturize her and have her flitting around me with tiny golden wings, settling on my shoulder and singing in my ear.....such happiness and joy it would bring me.❤️ ❤️ ❤️
grow up right by that place, it is a beautiful location and love the sound and atmosphere at nidarosdomen. God Jul fra Trondheim (happy christmas from Trondheim (norway)
No matter how bad my days are , how dark some feel to be, i put on Aurora and it breaths a new life, and it's not so dark after all, she reminds us all there's always light behind the darkness
I have to thank you so very much Mr. Jackson. I did not realize that Aurora sounded so good. So you definitely brought her to my attention and I am watching her more now
Every time I listen to her she brings tears to my eyes and makes me feel special and what a special place we're in in this small time in space we have so little to make it the best we can and to Love each other like human beings should.💕💕😍😍😍😍😍💝💝💝💝💝😇😇😇😇🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🌎🌎🌎🌎In HARMONY.
Here we go! This is what I've been waiting for! [Edit] Man, just look at her up there. Absolutely beautiful in every sense of the word. Great reaction my friend. Peace and love to everyone! 💗✌🏻💗 And happy birthday to Aurora! 🎂
She is special and so capitvating. It is like she is singing right to each individual person. Everyone in the room feels the same way. You can't learn that it is just God given.
New to your channel and I'm happily subscribed. I've really enjoyed your reaction and thoughts about this amazing artist. Like you, I was overwhelmed by "The Eyes of a Child"... so much so that it is my all-time favorite song/performance. I'm 57, I don't take that lightly. Keep preaching positive vibes.
Ohhhhhhh shit! This is THE holy grail of Aurora videos. Changed my life...my consciousness....the first time I saw it. Utterly transfixing and transformative. Seen it maybe 5 times since that first time last year. Wish I could relive that first time though....I went to bed that night in a state of wondrous bliss and hope....and that is NOT my usual bedtime mood. It's usually...gah, I ate too late...it's too hot, I'm sweaty...ok, so it's 3am, if I fall asleep within 30 minutes and get up at 8 for work...I'll get 4.5 hours sleep...not great, but not awful. But that night....my mind was clear and open and curious about everything. All because of this concert. Absolute real magik.
Love your reaction to this. Fantastic performance from Aurora. The cathedral acoustics, the band and orchestra, the lighting...just wow! What a gem of a concert. I think after seeing and absorbing this an attitude adjustment may be coming my way very soon. Like you said...there is too much negativity surrounding us. Thanks to this talented young woman for opening my eyes.
It takes a little self-confidence and singing the high notes live. Have not heard her sing sour or miss in a high tone all the live performances I have seen
So glad you played this most special concert of our Auroras, this is my absolute favorite one.The acoustics and reverb completely amplifies her gorgeous voice and takes her song to another realm..Love seeing you smile in enjoyment,it's so beautiful to see & hear this piece of magical bliss..
Thx for whole concert reaction in Aurora Birthday. Unfortunately i will watch it a little later as it is almost 24:00 her, also recently I am too busy (+Euro2020 after work). But i listened this concert many times and for sure it will be great to listen again ;). Whole concert is so magical :). I wish i could be there live on this concert:)
What a fantastic reaction to a fantastic concert, not only the music, but also the incredible light setting, the presentation of the orchestra, choir and band. You can not listen and watch this concert without being emotional touched. And it looks like you not only have been reacting to all of Auroras songs, but also listen a lot to them after, since you know a lot of her lyrics. And all the thoughts you present us for after all her songs is incredible good. Very philosophic thoughts I think 👍😍
If just i could give a thousand likes on that one. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and emotions again my dear. I really appreciate your honest character. Love from germany
«Little boy in the grass» was written for the victims of the Utøya massacre in Norway in 2011 (that awful day when 77 people, mostly very young people, where killed at a summer camp). 😢 Someone important to AURORA died that day. Btw, great reaction as always. A lot of wise words. I like watching all your facial expressions along the way. 👌 You really live into the performance and music. Thats great to watch! You have very expressive eyes (and very blue).
I have seen this many MANY times but like you I'm: - Noooooo...... It always ends too soon but thanks to your amazing reaction I lived it once again. You are a truly wonderful man! Much love from Norway
I'm so glad I decided to stick with this one. I was probably gonna watch the news after work....before bed. But then I randomly started this video....and stuck with it. Halfway through now. SO much better than my other plan. Spending an hour with this concert...and seeing you experience it for the first time...was a damn treat. Thank you!
I have been looking forward to this all day and since your video went up live. You are a fine man with wisdom. And I think/hope you reach out to both older and younger fans having Aurora as "Mothership" and harbour to hold on to in good and not so great days. But your words reflecting Aurora's core message are also is important on perfectly straight and normal days. Some reflexivity and awareness of "life being what happens while we work and plan for it" is a message one should remind oneself of each and every day. To throw up one of my favourite movie quotes ever (from "Shortbus"): I used to wanna change the world. Now I just wanna leave the room with a little dignity. There is a lot of goodness in that sentiment. We can perhaps not change the world alone - but we can avoid being A-holes for anyone unfortunate to be in the presence of such people. To me, this concert is a masterpiece. Aurora, a singer-songwriter in the "alternative electronica" genre takes her catalogue and some famous songs from some pretty famous people and rearranges them for strings, organ, male choir and "cathedral". How many pop artists can even consider that - let alone transpose their own music basically to a different century while still being highly topical on very current issues/the human condition. Regarding haters - having taken up a fondness for seeing a plant grow in my garden in the last couple of years (something I never found interest in my first 50 years) - the first trick I learnt was to keep the amount of weed at a minimum. Just as in life. "Energy vampires" must be kept at bay. Hence, the first trick in life is never to read the comment fields on youtube or anywhere else on the internet 😳. Except that is - under Aurora videos and a few select other topics. Aurora herself has said that "losing fans" is of no concern to her (typically because she was flying the rainbow flag in Brazil or other places where that support and solidarity is extra important). Nobody needs fans that thrive on belittling others. (A fun "semi-fact" - they set an Artificial Intelligence program up to teach itself language from the comment fields on the internet. The AI instantly developed psychopathic tendencies in the way it "understood" language. "Criticise and attack first, before yourself is criticized and attacked" is the modus operandi it picked up - of course). Thank you for a kind and thoughtful reaction to this concert many of us return to. I hope you will find the time someday to pop it on and enjoy it just for yourself while reading a book or pottering around - though I know that is not how reality is for content creators. Still one can wish. 😀 If anyone else read this far - I do not think Aurora has all the answers. But she does have some pretty good questions and points of views. Oh - a gift to you in return for your gift. The video I link below is two songs mixed to play one after the other. They are split by other songs on the album. I claim it is her mission statement. It is a rare occasion where I "give" her studio version. Partly because it is rare to hear "Mothership" live, and partly because the production is at Bjørk levels in soundscaping. It is more "a state of mind" than a song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dgYvUL4STxo.html&ab_channel=luisdavid
The best of it: the generic start at the end and you say ''noo'' like a kid. I just love so much that concert that it's my second time tonight, thank you for sharing. Take care of you my friend. (are closer to NY or LA ? Aurora will be their in november)
5:35 haha.....your face says it all. I think we ALL look like that, at that moment, when first watching this. It's insane how....powerful....she is. Emotionally and creatively SO powerful. It's rare to see that level of power and mastery in a single human being.
I just listening it during work (soon it will be end). It was so nice work time hehe :). BTW: I also like your wise/nice words of wisdom during reactions (this and others). Simple (theoretically simple as many ppl dont understand it) but true.
If you can get to New York or LA, Aurora has shows there in November. I don't know whereabouts you live, but she's definitely worth the plane ride! I have to wait till next April, when she comes to London.
I´ve been at Bach´s christmas oratorium -and Handels "Messiah" in this church accustics is magic - it is possible with an audience of a bit more than 1800 in the church
