I love the fact that Aurora is metalhead but is not in a metal band... I play in a metal band but listen to artist like Aurora. I have to meet her one day.

Phil Marriott - Oh yeah no problem man. Very professional yet also very personable. Like a friend. I liked your other interview of her too. You asked questions of her that I have been curious about since I became aware of her. You really put her at ease and she really opened up to you like she has not in any other interview I've seen. Its really so awesome getting to know more about her, and you made that happen. Really good work, and the thanks go to you.

One of the best interview that I've ever seen... Simple but deeper at the same time... I think that she see the world in the most simple way but also finds the meaning of everything in the honest way that's possible...

I sure hope we get a new interview with Aurora soon! She's given you an interview for every one of her past albums....but I don't seem to see any new interview surrounding The Gods We Can Touch. You two always had excellent chemistry....you can tell she likes your vibe and questions. So many interviews with Aurora are just wasted opportunities. She's such a fascinating person....why waste your time asking questions you can get answered on Wikipedia? Obviously this was your first ever interview with her, so you asked a bit of those on this one. But in the other interviews....you two had great rapport and the interviews were brilliant. Any chance of a 4th interview for the 4th (if you count step 1 & 2 as separate) album?

Thank you. I’ve tried so hard to get another interview but Decca PR weren’t forthcoming, sadly. Unfortunately Aurora is too big to reach directly.

Your are welcome , and thank you so much for sharing! Phil .. you should check out her fellow nowegians Susanne Sundfør and Emilie Nicolas , they are dark and have incredible voices. Susanne was the one who started the genre Aurora is in , Dark Folk Pop She is incredible! PS you should come to Oslo one year at The Øya Festivalen , man so many great bands/artist .

Nice interview. Unfortunately cut together. Aurora interviews are always an experience in full length, because she also has a lot to tell non-verbally. You need some time with her and that's something I personally and I think many others want to see too.

Røyksopp fantastic duo listen to 'Running to the sea' with Susanne Sundfør , Alan Walker and A-ha , A-ha was the band that put Norway into the music map but that was back i the 80th. And the viking band is called Wardruna the name is an interpretation of the Elder Futhark and is sung in old norwegian old norse

Rosa Dunnlogan it wasn’t deliberate. I respect this artist immensely, but when you interview someone you are only given a short time to chat. Demand is high. By the way; I interviewed Aurora again today so look out for a new chat soon.
