I don't know the original song though I feel it matches a novel I once read of a man that had to run away in war and came back after many years to the place of his childhood. Sad, overwhelming, full of joy, thoughtful. The whole thing's like sepia colours. The song fits absolutely perfect. Thank you for taking us on the ride!
@@twinalsotwin5334 It is a German novel by Eduard Claudius written in 1948 called Salz der Erde (salt of the world). Claudius was a well known author in the DDR regime that was founded in 1949. I got a book with some of his novels from my parents when I was younger. Claudius wrote a lot about war, solid poverty, international friendship and such. He used much imagination and sensitive language. This novel got me into creative writing by myself 15 years ago. That is why I love the song. You may buy it online for a lower price, but it is only available in German.
So beautiful! Genuinely. Thank you for playing this, it's one of my favourites. If you learned more Aurora songs, I'd be absolutely over the moon. Only if you want to, of course :)
Your music/playing is what inspired me to become a cellist to begin with. Here I am 6 years later, the first chair in my school orchestra working towards my first cello to own
When I listen to the cello, I feel as if I am flying through the sky and as if I am a free creature who is not afraid of confrontation. Your creativity takes me to a beautiful world that I cannot describe. Thank you and I apologize for expressing if something is wrong. I am Arabic and my English is not good. Thank you again.🥺🥺🤍
I was listening to the ocean I saw a face in the sand But when I picked it up Then it vanished away from my hands, down I had a dream I was seven Climbing my way in a tree I saw a piece of heaven Waiting, impatient, for me, down And I was running far away Would I run off the world someday? Nobody knows, nobody knows And I was dancing in the rain I felt alive and I can't complain But now take me home Take me home where I belong I can't take it anymore I was painting a picture The picture was a painting of you And for a moment I thought you were here But then again, it wasn't true, down And all this time I have been lying Oh, lying in secret to myself I've been putting sorrow on the farest place on my shelf La-di-da And I was running far away Would I run off the world someday? Nobody knows, nobody knows And I was dancing in the rain I felt alive and I can't complain But now take me home Take me home where I belong I got no other place to go Now take me home Take me home where I belong I got no other place to go Now take me home Take me home where I belong I can't take it anymore But I kept running for a soft place to fall And I kept running for a soft place to fall And I kept running for a soft place to fall And I kept running for a soft place to fall And I was running far away Would I run off the world someday? But now take me home Take me home where I belong I got no other place to go Now take me home Take me home where I belong I got no other place to go Now take me home, home where I belong, oh, no, no Now take me home, home where I belong, oh, oh, oh Now take me home, home where I belong, oh, no, no Now take me home, home where I belong I can't take it anymore
Beautifully Done. Hearing the song played so accurately instrumentally emphasises the importance of rhythm in the melody line. Aurora is a master rhythmic syncopation and it’s one of her great gifts. Thank you! 🎻❤️🇦🇺
He is my inspo all the time, and he releases the songs sheet music! I dunno if you *just* started but if you did this is coming from someone who has been playing cello for 4-5 years. The best music books are the Klengal(I believe that's how it's spelled) scale book, and start with Suzuki book one. You'll go far with that my friend :) best of luck!
@@stopitgetsomehelp5252 no it's Klengle actually and the best book especially for intonation n chromatic scales is Kummer etudes, wildly irritating when you're a student but good on the long run.
@@nessielovecraft5308 I’ve never seen that one but I’ll check it out! Thanks for the correction too. I’m not the best with names and faces and I usually just go with what my cello teacher recommends and find random sheet music online. Stay safe ^^
Like always. Days passing and this sound remains the same. something butiful and unchaging in hard and changing times thank you .it's always a pleasure to listen to your. Covers
I'm not sure how, but the start always makes my heart squeeze with longing for something unknown. This is beautiful. May I have the nots for your cover?
