This song hit me. When I was little I loved dancing and singing and always found joy in the smallest things, despite being abused everyday. I was told to take it and stay quiet. I come back years later, and this song still gives me the feelings it did back then. I can imagine mountains, during the night, with the northern lights shining deep colors of pink, blue, purple, and green. The snow barely falling. It’s so calming. I love how Aurora also means the northern lights, and her songs, and voice definitely remind me of that.

This is so true knowing that life isint fair and horrible and short I also have bad days I struggle with abuse and anxiety i also feel like giving up but I don't because I don't wanna leave my amazing friends. This song reminds me of me when I was 18 & ran away to California (I’m in NC) with nothing but a bookbag, became homeless, with my cousin & an old pedo man, running drugs, running around with homeless on the streets of Venice & LA, living in a Costco parking lot…. All to finally realize after a month what a mistake I made.. I’m back home physically, but home mentally too. I’m 23 now w/ a loving husband & pregnant with my first. I’m so happy I found home & stopped metaphorically and physically running.
