Some information about AURORA: - She doesn’t stick to one genre - She’s very experimental with her music - Bjork is one of her inspirations and once Aurora played in Iceland and Bjork was in the crowd 💜 - Her music talks about important matters of the world we live in, she’s very vocal about the problems we’re living Anyways, I’m glad you enjoyed this crazy song hahaha 💜💜💜 Thank you!
it's not the 'typical' aurora sound. there is none. you will learn at your next pick ;-) in fact, her genre is 'good music'. oh, and thanks for the request & reaction.
I keep asking reactors to check out Aurora because she’s soooooo amazing. Frankie happened to listen to me and check out this song. I suggested Starvation because it’s such a different sound and I thought he would like it 💜💜
You have just hit Gold Dust with Aurora just seen her in concert at the royal Albert hall in the UK and I’m simply lost for words believe me this girl is special best live performance I’ve seen in years.❤️🍎
I like the way you present your reaction. I mean that we see what you see. You've already heard from the other comments that Aurora is a special artist and it's definitely worth seeing more of her. Aurora is unbeatable live. I like to recommend watching the official music videos first and then watching the same song in a live version, then you'll understand why so many recommend the live versions. It doesn't really matter which song you choose from her, you can't go wrong. Have fun with Aurora Aksnes, musician, lyricist and producer from Norway (And a very unique person with a big heart in the right place)
Aurora is a genius - and uses music as her expression. She is a female force - and the world neads it ! Thank you - hope you dare to listen to more of her music - and her live performances - and her fantastic music videos. Everthing she does is amazing. Best from Bergen, Norway
Really nice reaction to my all time favorite multi talented artist. She is quite diverse in her music, she is really her own genre. As for her voice, she is also quite acrobatic with that too, so talented. Thanks.
You might be the first person I've seen watch an Aurora video for the first time and notice that her abrupt ending and discordant notes are intentional choices. Her specific genre is whatever she happens to feel like doing at the time. I had to lol @ the Bjork comparison. It really seems that no matter what song someone listens to for the first time that will remain the eternal comparison.
Love Aurora and that was a very cool reaction! That last part was inspired by the German underground rave scene. There is indeed a recent remix on her channel that is not really my thing, but might be more to your liking (as a DJ).
Aurora arrives where we never expect her. This song is not at all representative of her discography which is very varied. I recommend you to continue to be curious about what she is capable of doing.
Great reaction👍 I’m definitely subscribing if you react to more Aurora, she’s truly unique and does almost all genres😍 She loves metal and she also loves to rave, and at the same time she makes music with lyrics that hit hard. She is the featuring artist on Bring me the horizon with “Limousine”, I recommend the live performance from Japan. She wrote her breakthrough song “Runaway” when she was 11 years old. Billie Eilish watched the music video for “Runaway” when she was about 12, and she thought to herself that “this is what I want to do wether it goes anywhere or not “ She has thanked Aurora for being an inspiration❤️ If you want to react to “Runaway” I highly recommend the fan favourite live at the Nobel peace prize concert 2015 Right now I’m obsessed with her fourth album (fifth if you ask Aurora lol) “What happened to the heart?” which was released in June this year. I love all songs, but I recommend “A soul with no King” live at Vevo
if you want to experience the stark contrast in her styles, check out Murder Song, live from the Nobel Peace Prize concert. she is a very unique artist.
I think AURORA uses the abrupt ending of the song as a metaphor for lives suddenly ending in a war. You might also like the live version of this song, recorded at Glastonbury festival last summer: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4y238kmIxjA.html&ab_channel=BBCMusic Real drums are used in that live version, with a big shout out to AURORA's drummer Sigmund
I like this one a lot, but a bit of a strange introduction. Not really what she's known for. Then again, she loves experimenting. Amazing live, and as much as I love her acoustic/stripped performances, she has a super solid band, and also on occasion performs with symphonic orchestras. Seems to collaborate a lot lately, and was on stage with Bring Me The Horizon (and on their record) earlier this year, with Jacob Collier for Greenpeace earlier this month, and she's good friends with Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers (worked together before, and he did some stuff on her latest album). Busy lady! I wonder where she gets the energy, as she's quite the introvert.
As Brian Eno said in an interview: The Norwegian singer Aurora, who's one of the most extraordinary people i've met. Absolutely original human being. You just think, who designed her ? She is ... she's such a oneoff wonderful person. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JcsWAjFXFOo.html
Well... First, thanks for the reaction. It is always nice to get a new video from you and listen to a new artist. Second, the song sounds very much experimental. She has an amazing voice and utilizes a lot of interesting things throughout the song. However, when blended together it sounds rather chaotic and overwhelming for me. Similar to mixing chocolate, pizza, curry, carrot cake and beer. I personally prefer to keep them separate. But kudos to her for exploring the music.
This here is Starvation live in Glastonbury not too long ago, she's something else live, she reigns on any stage she sets foot on ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4y238kmIxjA.html
Hi, great reaction. :) I'm for the first time on your channel. If you're taking requests from comments, can you please react to japanese artist Kaya and his song "Salome"? You can find PV (promotional video) to this song, unfortunately not from Kaya's official channel, but it's on RU-vid. I'm really curious what you would say about that song, it's kinda mix of different genres and styles, but I love this song so much, in my opinion it all fits perfectly together. :) But I hope you're tolerant person, because Kaya is crossdresser, his stage image is feminine, and he's bisexual, one of only few openly gay people in japanese music industry. I hope you will react to it. :) Have a great day/night!
