A G5 (kp9) solar storm - strongest in two decades - made Friday night truly unforgettable. Despite the bright nautical twilight skies, the auroras were visible even before midnight, as they were in the Southern sky, not North where they usually appear on our latitude. Captured over 11 000 frames between 23:27 and 03:22. May 11th is also my record for latest date in the season.
