Hello. VERY nice review. I have a Ausom Gallop. And love it. But the new DT1. Pro. Is a clone. It's the same scooter as the Apollo Ghost. Just branded different. With That said. I will be ordering the DT1 pro.
I am still slowly working on my little escooter project...managed to find some small 6" pneumatic wheels (tire and tube) for it but they were still like 1/16" too big so I had to modify the frame and fork a bit to fit them. And had to make an adapter for the chain since it is just a brushed motor and chain right now. It is a "spare parts" build. It has no suspension but I have a few ideas...Ali has some cool stuff. Eventually I will get some hub motors for it maybe. It isnt very fast but it is light enough you can still do bunny hops and whatnot. It just has a 500W 24V setup right now but the motor can handle more. Might handle 1000W at 36V/48V. And I can change speed / torque with the sprockets. I still hate riding scooters but it is fun to work on.
A scooter with 12 or 14" wheels might actually be semi comfortable to ride...the small wheels make them so shifty to ride though imo lol. My sister likes them though and lives in a city center where you are allowed to ride them. So it is all hers when it is done. Got my.eye out for a decent skateboard deck for it to replace the plastic deck.
Hello. I don't think it looks better. With That said. The new Gallop is the same scooter vsett has the vsett 9+. All Ausom did was change a few things on it. Go check it out. You will see.
@@chrisdudley8366 it’s totally different. Sr1 has 1000w 52 v and vsett9 + is 600w and 48v or 42v 10 in vs 8.5inch tires. Everything is different. Throttle,display , deck ,stem , deck lights and stem lights. Think you’re confused. You’ll see
@@mikehagquist5198 hello. Only thing that is different is the specs. It's the same scooter. And it's dual 700 w motors not dual 600 watts. You're looking at the old models. And it's 52 v not 48 volt. It's the same manufacturer. Ausom change a few things made them 1000 w dual and 10 inch tires instead of 9 in tires. And they are made in the same factory. And I ordered the DT1 pro. And that scooter is the same scooter as the Apollo ghost. Same manufacturer only thing that Ausom did was changed the color. and made few changes with the controls.
@@chrisdudley8366Doesn’t that small battery in the Dt1 give you hesitation? Otherwise it looks great. As far as the new Gallop I prefer the looks of that better too but that’s just personal preference. They both look really nice!!
@@jbeez141 Good question. Yes it does. But I don't ride top speed that much anyway. I ride between 20 25 miles per hour. Most of the time anyway. So I know I will get at lease 20 miles range no problem. With That said. I am thinking about getting the Kukirin G2 master. That has bigger battery 20.8 AH. But not sure which one. 😊
I like ZooM Brakes. I have the new HB890E. It's 4 piston with the side mounted brake line. Also has a window on the master cylinder which is a nice touch. So far so good. Better than stock 4 pistons I replaced. Always use ceramic pads tho 🤘👽🚲🛴
