Love your videos. I've been through that area so many times and seen none of the beautiful scenery you search out and show in all of your videos. Thank you.
I subscribed to your channel a few weeks ago - absolutely loving the videos 😆 Really enjoyed the whales - they were fantastic! Also love the lookouts, the rock formations, and the tidal pools. Keep going with posting to RU-vid, you’re an inspiration 😎🐕🇦🇺👍
The sunset was stunning. Food looked great! You keep your place tidy. My son lives in Newy. They took the kids to Somersby Waterfalls last weekend. Wasnt anyone around. He takes his kids to caves beach regularly. The Shark Hole was amazing 😊 Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks mate, hope you're enjoying vanlife too. My wife left me a few weeks after we moved into the van full-time, but no looking back for me. I'm loving it 😊
Great video! You’re in my local area. I hadn’t heard of the shark hole before though, looks like a beautiful spot. I wouldn’t have been brave enough to do that ladder lol. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure!
New subscriber.. I like your channel. It's so relaxing to watch. Seeing how you climbed out of that ladder hole would have been great content though. Anyway glad I found your channel.
Thanks for coming along! Only problem with filming me climb the ladder is that I would have had to done it twice to get the camera back 😂 I need to tie it to some string and hoist up to the top...
Thank you for another awesome vid full of stunning views , those beaches are so beautiful , but I could have watched those whales for hours , they where just majestic
Great video. That Shark Hole is amazing; and love the fact the ladder doesn't go all the way to the bottom, must have measured it when it was full of water 🤣.
@@MakingStuffGoingPlaces It looked big on the footage so it must have been huge. I will definitely have to visit that place. I will need to compile a list of places based on your videos. I would have thought it would be harder to get back on the ladder given it is 5ft off the ground? 🤣
Ive been in my van coming up to 3.5 years and do 50/50 Sydney/Travel and a fair share of street parking in industrial areas and never experience the noise/burnouts you have (haha) ... maybe all those windows in your van ;) I do have sound deadening and insulation and less windows so it might help but I sleep so well in the van. Loved seeing the whale footage :)
It's a VoltaX LiFePo4 300Ah. Definitely on the cheaper end so the capacity could be questionable, but when I looked at my data, it was about 5 days with hardly any charging, mainly because I hadn't driven much and it was very cloudy. Makes sense really.
Wow , that shark hole was incredible, humongous. Your Braver than me climbing down that ladder. Do you ever fish at all? Some places you have been, I always think , that would be a great place to throw a line in. I find fishing very therapeutic 😁
It was certainly worth climbing down, but very hairy!😂 I'm too impatient for fishing. You're right though, most places I go there's also people fishing.
@@MakingStuffGoingPlaces Another place I'd recommend for you, is the Awaba MTB Park. If you liked the Ourimbah MTB trails, you'll love this one. It's on Mount Faulk Rd. Just at the start of the Watagan NP. Easily accessible by your van.
You told me about a few campsites near there too. I was actually on my way there last week but the the heavy rain was forecast so I went to Swansea instead. I'll definitely be heading there soon.
@@MakingStuffGoingPlaces And if you do end up going to Awaba MTB Park, a good spot for lunch is Heaton Lookout. Fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, and Lake Macquarie.
Cool! I did notice there were a few lookouts there. While I was in Swansea, I could see the fog spilling out from the Watagans through a pass in the hills. Keen to get some pictures of that! Might actually head up there tomorrow 😂
