yes, also cammer seems to have no idea how to anticipate traffic or drive defensively and with any modicum of alertness, and didn't seem to alter their speed at all - seemed too fast to me when you're entering a roundabout ?? When the horn didn't work to save DC from (self inflicted) trouble, used a collision to slow down- hey , saves wear and tear on the brakes ! I have noticed an apparent belief from a lot of drivers- "those entering the roundabout at the fastest imaginable speed have right of way "

Break lights indicate a slowing or stopping vehicle. Last video submission is a Muppet if he thinks the driver in front was at fault for slowing for an endangered species. Bogans unfortunately are not an endangered species.....

The bloke at 0.25 did go into the bike lane to turn left irrespective of the garbage truck changing his mind about turning right so it's half his fault too , if he stayed behind he would only curse the truck move instead of wrecking his car . Seems a lot of P platers coming to grief .

0:24 - that’s what happens when you stop in a truck’s blind spot, and when you’re not in a marked lane of traffic where they would expect you to be. Pretty sure the insurer would rule majority DC driver’s fault on that one. And added bonus, gets a Holden shitbox off the road.

To be fair, to the cammer, the truck was indicating they were turning right, then for some reason the truck decided to turn left after the cammer had moved to the left.

both are at fault for sure, seen many comments but he indicated, sure, but pay attention he turned it off well before he pulled in next to him, also it's not smart to pull up next to a truck anyway exspecialliy to sit in their blind spot. they need the wider birth to turn in most cases. also you cannot see jack shit so why even do it. insurance would have had fun on this one.

Or like my cousin found out when a guy hit her car causing my cousin to spend over three weeks in hospital, that the guy had epilepsy and had constantly lied to his doctor that it was under control and he wasn't having fits. His wife felt guilty and told the truth. Some people with 'medical episodes' are usually not reporting truthfully to their doctor that they are having issues; diabetics are also high risk and tend to lie. My brothers ex girlfriend constantly has hypos because she has never kept to her diet or regularly checked her sugar levels. After her fourth crash in seven weeks with their daughter in the car the last crash, my brother left her and applied for custody of their daughter. She still doesn't look after herself and the doctor said patient doctor privilege when my brother tried to talk to him about her lying and the doctor just taking her word. It needs to be looked into more when people have medical issues and drive. Some doctors really don't do proper checks and some people lie about the illness. My cousin nearly died because someone decided it was more important that they lie so they get to drive and put others at risk. Care flight was what got her to hospital in time to be operated on and saved her when it should never have happened at all.

@@chezwarden659 agreed. Driving when unfit to drive should be treated as seriously as high range drink driving. The same goes for operating a device while driving. I think that guy's wife was trying to save everyone in her family by telling the truth about her husband.

People life is worth more than a fucking varmint.. i never stop for small animals, i will try to swerve around if that doesnt pose any risk but the little shit better be an armadillo or turtle to cause me to wreck.. otherwise they going splat.. i wonder if youd say the same thing if say you were driving at night and suddenly a deer foot goes through your stomach and paralyzed you for life and killing your child who was in the passenger seat.. would you blame yourself for driving? What if you stopped for a squirrel and a van plows into you at 80mph killing everybody in it including your family in your car. Would it be the right thing to do stopping for a little critter with a life span a fraction of yours yet it took multiple lives because your dumb ass stops in the middle of a highway for the damn thing ?!? I stop for people.. or if your bigger than a dog ill slow down, if bigger than than 100lbs ill stop but will pull my ass to the side..

07:20 The van may have entered the roundabout a fraction of a second earlier than dashcam vehicle, and thus had right of way technically. Ultimately it'd probably be fair to say that 50% blame lies with each of the drivers of the two vehicles involved. Plenty of time to be situationally aware and plan ahead.

@eaglen00b Your first sentence is 100% correct. The second sentence is 100% incorrect.100% of fault lies with the dash cam vehicle. There is no give way to the right and the DC had better visibility. Any normal person would brake because there is a bus there and brake for the van and not rush to try and prove a point.

I have watched a clip about what every Australian does wrong: assuming the car on the right at a roundabout has absolute right of way. By Australian law, the car in the roundabout has the right of way, always. I still remember what I learnt how to enter the roundabout some decades ago. You slow down to the point where you are absolutely sure that you can stop behind the line. Then check the car directly coming at you has no right blinker. You then check there is no car about to enter from the right that has no or right blinker. Then make sure the car from the left is not already in the roundabout and have a right indicator. Be very careful if someone tries to do a U turn. Finally, if anyone looks like a wanker, give way.
