Cheteshwar Pujara cruised to his 17th Test ton, Virat Kohli raised his bat for 82, Rohit Sharma hit a half-century and Nathan Lyon saw three simple catches dropped off his bowling before India declared at 7-443
India should have scored 550-600, even if it takes 2.5 days. Coz pitch will deteriorate and Batsmen will find difficult to even score 350 to save follow on later.
@Sports Global Runs banana bht mushkil hai iss pitch pe...bcz slow hai uper se outfield bhi sluggish hai...Jabb jabb tezz khelne gyr tabb tabb out hoye ya catch chada diya...jo ke aus.ne bahut chode ajj tabhi 443 ban gye...
On contrary, if Indian opener perform well ,India is unbeatable. Whenever Opener provide better platform for middle order, both middle order and lower order play well, & we win most of those matches. Lower order of any cricketing Nation can't handle pressure.
1⃣6⃣ years old record Broken ❎ - MOST RUNS FOR INDIA IN AN CALENDAR YEAR ( Overseas Tour ) -: 1138 - VIRAT KOHLI (2018) 1137 - RAHUL DRAVID (2002) 1065 - MOHINDER AMARNATH (1983) 918 - SUNIL GAVASKAR (1971
Sunil gavaskar 918 run was too hard.....Against that west indies fast bowling attack..... Without helmet...... I respect VK too....I m big fan Of VK.....

Great innings by Mayank, Pujara, Kohli and Rohit. Keep it up guys! Proud of you. Mayank what a debut! You belong at this level and now nobody is gonna stop you from shining. Pujara is the nearest thing to dravid (if that is even possible) in the current era. Rock solid! He got an unplayable delivery at the end. Kohli played well until the last over in which he gifted his wicket to starc because he had back paine. Rishabh pant making the same mistakes again and again but shastri is sleeping as usual. Playing the same high risk shots to the same bowler who got him out just 10 days back. What does he think? He is gonna clear MCG in all those shots? He was gonna get caught sooner or later and he did. I understand he is new but learning from his mistakes so they aren't repeated is necessary at all costs. Rohit sharma finally shining and showing his true talent. This knock of 63 not out will give him huge confidence going forward and I think he will rise in test cricket like a pheonix like he did in white ball cricket in 2013. He shut all his haters up who keep spreading negativity but that wont affect him and haters aren't worthy enough to shine his boots. A huge day for India and now we should make sure that this match is not drawn by the aussies.
@@chetanyadav8525 we need fearless players like sehwag not careless players like pant. Having said that, Im in no way downgrading the efforts of our youngster but if you watched the match, he goes for aerial high risk shots every game rather than grounded 4s and took on starc who was bowling 145+. He needs to have match awareness and to know when to hit which shot.
I have a feeling Prithvi Shaw would have relished batting on this surface. Lad missed out on a great learning experience. He has to wait 4 long years to bat in Australia
joke of the century 😂😂 everyone knows that Rohit is too much troubled with swinging and seaming conditions, he may not give good starts(test match pitchis not a flat road), I respect him as an Odi player but test match has its own legacy and only the most technically sound and dedicated players can survive their.
@@shadowranger525 bro he didn't get enough opportunities to prove himself.....so please if he gets opportunity he can prove himself in such conditions...❤️
@@shadowranger525 sehwag ke pas kya technique thi bhai . 2019 world cup me SA ke against dekh swing ho raha tha naa .Test cricket me temperament jyada important hai rahul se jyada achha technique to nhi hai na avi kisi ka fir wo test se q bahar hua tha
@@divyeshkapgate6835 The pitch is flat and dead, Even Australia on good wickets in Adelaide and Perth got 250, in Melbourne they probably get 300 but at slow run rate, It take till middle of Day 4, And India will have to bat and score another 150, + take 10 wickets with showers on Day 5 also predicted in Melbourne. I'd put it at 65% Draw India 35% Australia 0, They would need 600 runs, And that alone would take 3 days to make.
@@divyeshkapgate6835 Or how bad Australia batsman are. 150 is ridiculous for International team on pitch that did almost nothing, Just poor batting very poor.
This score proves the importance of the contribution of the openers...!! Once the openers give a decent score..then there's enough chances for the team to get a formidable..score like this..!! *WELL DONE TEAM INDIA..!!* way to go..all the best..!!
@@maxmclachlan7557 but batting will get tough as the game progresses and I'm sure India can Enforce a Follow on lead here because we have Quality bowlers not anymore Like Umesh and Ashwin Don't even call Ashwin a Quality bowler please
Bumrah is already on the nerves of Aaron finch and marcus Harris with every ball he bowls, And shami still hasn't bowled a over, Bumrah has turned himself into Brettlee nowadays the line and length and the consistency of fine pace ,it's gng to be a hard battle for the Aussies
Damn man , the partnership between Kohli Pujara was class and fun to watch. Sadly for Kohli , due to his back problem , couldnt get his 100. But Pujara man! He stayed there for like more than 50 overs and completed his century. He truely is THE NEXT WALL of India. Wish we also had such 2 players... Respect from Pakistan ❤ brothers ✌
If you're saying sirf aur sirf then you are wrong!! Day 2 Kohli and Pujara started.. they didn't allow Aussies to take wicket and they scored too.. to sirf aur sirf bolna totally galat hai
It was so great to watch the Indian fast bowlers return the favor. Aussies bowling the short stuff from the 1st test and hitting Indian batsmen everywhere (especially the head). The Indian bowlers paid it back in full. Never before has that happened by an Indian attack. Wonderful.
Mostly but as the aus were tired there was a chance that they could have lost a wicket or 2 so no problem and they were struggling during the batting one on the helmet one nearly took an edge and carried so...
no if rohit were allowed to bat India's tail order will be exposed and are prone to injury... which will affect our bowling ....like shami or bumrah got injured by their bouncers....... we would be in a tight corner
Please don't change Indians batting line up because it is perfect because of pujara kohli rohit pant rahane and opening was little bit perfect hit like if you agree
But then again Hanuma Bihari is not a genuine opener, a part timer drafted in, make shift arrangement. Once Prithvi is back we can take a sigh of relief but till then how long will this makeshift arrangement is doubtful.
@Jamie P still 3 days are left friend. Draw is highly Unlikely as it is a tricky pitch.. With Uneven bounce, batting in 3rd and 4th day going to be tough... So India has a Very good Chance of winning unless any Miraculous Batting comes out of Aussie Team ....
The_Dr India have batted for 2 days straight on the flattest pitch possible. It’s gonna be a big effort for India to bowl Australia out in one day. Even if the do the only chance they’d have then if they enforce the follow on which won’t happen cause as I said before it’s a flat pitch and Australia will score runs. It’ll be a draw
@@tomsharpe8181 reverse swing will be ultimate result .. Mitch starc n Pat Cummings did it .. now see what bumrah n Sharma do .... You have to bat technically if you wanna score run in this pitch
