I'm tearing up as I relate so much to his own story but I've been reading the bible much more now and these versus he pointed out were EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you for this. Also, if God wanted to make such a distinction between male and female, why did he create intersex people? Transgender people are not dissimilar from intersex people, it's just that our MEDICAL condition is in our brains, not our pants.

you're correct. I'm transsexual myself, but my identity is in Christ, not my gender. Being trans isn't "who I am" I only see it as just a medical hurdle. My identity is in Christ because He is who saves me.

I’m a transvestite, ex/trans and sometime non-binary person, I also try to live by Jesus’ example (amongst other spiritual leaders). I’m not a Christian but I do read the bible and have studied it at university level. I’m not sure about the Catholic or other organised religious position on this but I will say that a) I don’t believe that being an apostle makes one infallible, and I certainly don’t think that being elected pope by cardinals imbues one with any more access to God’s inner thoughts (if an entity like God can even have thoughts!). Personally if I considered myself a Christian I would put a lot more store in the actions of the living god than in his followers’ interpretations. The quotations y’all use are incredibly unspecific and seem to be in contrast with Jesus’ message and actions. Why would he defend an adulterer from stoning if the intention of God was to put all sinners to death as Paul states? Seems to me that evangelicals are Paulists not Christians. They follow the word of Paul and not Jesus. Jesus preached a message of tolerance and love and forgiveness. Paul by the time of Romans was an elderly narcicist curmudgeon. You talked of being able to bring our experiences to the table, I had a good and useful experience at a vestry meeting because I lived both genders. each was expressing how they were approaching an issue, and each felt criticized by the other, I was able to show that one was expressing how they felt on the issue and the other was asking a question. AMEN ! 1) NOT ONE bible passage he mentioned is relevant to his arguement at all. 2) they are saying "god made a mistake" - what needs to be taught is that the demonic realm is super active, aLL of the new testament was warning against the demonic realm... MOST of Jesus healings was Jesus saying "demon get out" and the person being restored.. I truely believe most mental illnesses are not a sickness of the brain, but (as the bible tells us) a demon talking to somebody.. telling them to end their life.. telling them to be sad.. telling them to be confused about their gender.. The early argument made was that dominion does not mean to "rule' but rather "create". That the naming of the animals was part of creation. And that to extent our role in creation we should extend beyond what God made (male and female) into even more expressions of humanity. This is probably the most honest part of the lecture and it reveals the real hermeneutic. the Bible is very clear on its terminology in Genesis 1 and 2. Dominion means to rule over. It does not mean to create even if a professor that you really like wants to reinvent the meaning and intent of the world. From the context it is clear, mankind is the creation that rules the world. No animal was given the dominion of earth. Next it was argued that the job of naming the animals is equivalent to creating the animals. And it was further argued that God intend us to expand his creation by reinventing what a man or a woman is. To say that mankind should reinvent what a man or a woman is because man is the creator is far closer to humanism than to a Christian worldview. While God gives man responsibilities he has not asked man to re-create what he has already made. Inventing categories of humans based on internal feelings is an extremely limited scope no matter how often people claim it isn't. All of the gender expressions are deeply rooted in their relationship to male or female. A real application of this passage would allow people to identify as animals or as inanimate objects. Furthermore how does it expand the creation to identify as something that exists in the creation that you are not biologically. If God made a tree, does it expand the creation for a dog to behave as a tree when it is in fact a dog? In the same logic, how is the creation enhanced when a person designed as a man, decided to behave as woman, something God already created? The passage clearly teaches that there are only two kinds of people. The speaker desperately, by her own admission, wants the passage not to say what it clearly does in fact say. Such desires must be brought into submission of the spirit of God not the driving force of changing the intended meaning of the text.
Very well explained. I feel that “dominion” meant we would be smarter and could therefore rule and conquer any animal if we put our mind to it. We could also use animals without feeling bad, such as riding horses or taking care of the field. Not making yourself into a trans. God is not the author of confusion.

I had to finally stop watching when he got to the part about Adam being a co-creator with God, in creating the animals. In Genesis2:19 it says that “God brought them (the animals that GOD had already created) and let Adam NAME them.” Am I missing something here? Yes, God Loves everyone and so do I, however …Leviticus 18:1, 2 and 22
Do you understand the context of the book's purpose from which these are found? Do you know what Leviticus's purpose is? Please research the fundamental purpose of the book itself and THEN, through that lens, understand what Leviticus is telling us. Also, take into account that alot of what Leviticus considers "kosher" isn't exactly relevant to us int he New Covenant through Christ... it's not just food laws.
The same point is made in the new testament as well though. I'm not trying to be rude, I know that's upsetting to hear. Whatever you're going through I'm sorry to hear it, but God can meet you where you are, wherever you are and bring you into the light. Call on His name friend.
This heresy is leading people estray. I understand much of why you say what you are saying but taking the word of God and molding, twisting it, conforming it to worldly thoughts. Twisting God's word to affirm sin is heartbreaking. God gave men and women different roles and he did it for a reason...when humans pervert that ie "women belong in the kitchen..." statements, these are harmful human stereotypes that are used to reinforce role extremes and perversion. There are exceptions of the roles of men and women such as Deborah to name one. In reference to the discussion of name giving in relation to identity, God is the one giving new names/identity, not ourselves giving ourselves new names/identity. When applying this to gender identity this is wrong...we do not decide our identity when we accept Jesus. When your identity is ROOTED in Jesus you will NEVER have an identity crisis again. The eunuch argument is egregious. Eunuch were made that way do to human sin...God's grace covers the sin done to them. I am so saddened by what you are teaching. I have no hate for LGBTQ+ people. I do hate that you take the word and make it so sin is ok. Do not make the bible embrace sin just for your own affirmation. I will continue to pray for you and the people you preach to. God help them for they no not what they do.

God is not the author of confusion. If a person is confused it’s from the Devil. You can’t believe part of the Bible and try to twist things around so you can be something you weren’t born to be. I don't know what gender you were born as. Based on the name, I would think male. I'd like to ask, what does it mean to be non-binary? If you were born (I'm assuming, forgive me if I'm wrong) a male, then what changed to let you become "non-binary"? God created humans male and female. There weren't other genders created. Otherwise, I would think they'd be mentioned, but there are no other genders mentioned at all. There are multiple verses about the roles of both genders, and yet nothing about any others. I'd think that'd be very important to add. So, with being a male, how could you decide to be "non-binary"? Well, I'd think you just decided that you were. But what does that mean? What does it mean to you to not be either gender? These ideas people have today about gender go against the reality that God has made clear for us. If you think a person who has the body parts and DNA of a male can be a female at some point, then you'd say it isn't based on the body parts and DNA. If you think gender is simply based on our perception, then what's stopping an adult from saying he's a baby? Who would you be to deny him, if you think we can decide things like that based on our ideas alone? Likewise, if you think a man can be a woman, even with the body parts and DNA of a man, and you believe they're actually a woman, then it's all based on our perception. In that case, however, the meaning of woman falls apart, as well as man. If it's based only on our own perception, then someone could say that a woman is a type of car, and another person could say it's a feeling, and yet another could say it's a company, and on and on. If anyone is free to define what a woman is, then it comes to mean nothing. But we can't define for ourselves what a woman is. God has made the distinction for us, and we must follow. Likewise, if you think you're no longer any gender, then what does it even mean to be a gender? If you think a person can just decide that they're no longer any gender, then that suggests that anybody can just decide to be anything. That suggests this isn't based in some physical reality, but only on our thoughts, and that we can really just decide to be anything. But that's not the case. God has made the reality clear, and we need to follow it.
As a Christian, you should not let anyone cause you to be "lukewarm" in your beliefs. Do not conform your language to validate another's ideology. Pray for those who are being deceived and misguided, while trying to overcome the temptation of the flesh. Remember, Jesus came to "fulfill" the Law and Prophecies of the Old Testament, not to dismantle them! Jesus clearly states that we can't have it both ways. It is for us to repent, wash sin away with baptism in Christ, and follow the DIFFICULT path of turning away from our sinful nature. The LGBTQ+ Ideological movement is a "roaring lion"... 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." There is nothing subtle, about a roaring lion.... Leviticus 18: 22Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God." Please don't listen to what is said in this video. Transgenderism goes against God, and the reality that He has clearly made. God created humans male and female. He made a distinction between them. He made males with specific body parts and DNA, then made women with different features, and an ability to reproduce. The distinction wasn't based on their self perception. Transgenderism, however, seems to suggest that the difference is based on one's perception. If you think a person with body parts and DNA of a man can be a woman can actually be a woman, then you don't agree that the distinction is based on body parts and DNA. So what is the distinction based on? What does it mean for a man to become a woman if you think that can happen? What happens? Well, the answer seems simple. The only thing that has changed is the person's self perception and their ideas. But in that case, what's stopping an adult from saying they're a baby? Who would you be to deny that they're a baby? If you think things can just be something based on how they feel, then what's stopping me from saying a phone is a tree? We are in no place to define reality. Only God has control over reality, and He has clearly made the reality of man and woman. A person can't decide one day to be a different gender. If you want to suggest that being a certain gender is based solely on the way someone thinks, then what does it even mean to be that gender? If you think perception is the only factor, then what does it mean to be a man? What does it mean to be a woman? If you say anybody can decide for themselves what it means for them to be a woman, then the meaning of woman falls apart. If you think being a woman is based on one's own views, then that suggests that anybody can define the word for themselves, leaving it to mean anything, and therefore nothing. So let me ask you this: what is a woman?

No, God made you a certain gender. Then you decided to call yourself no gender. Tell me, what does it mean to be gender nonconforming? Do you just think you're not either gender? What does that even mean? You're clearly one gender, considering that's how you were born, and it's clear from the distinctions God made between genders. You can't just deny the truth and say that you aren't something when you are that thing. You can tell me all you want that a person with 2 arms has only 1 arm, but that doesn't suddenly make that person have 1 arm. They still have 2 arms. Hi Daniel! People argue that being Christian comes with suffering. But Jesus never endorses oppression. In order for suffering to be Christ-like, it must be redemptive. I think what is important here is that Jesus calls us to leave our lifestyle of sin and to follow him. However, I don’t believe this would apply to you regarding being trans because that’s not something you have to redeem from. I hope this makes sense! :)

God made a distinction between the genders, and for people to call themselves a different gender is to deny the reality God put in place and to suggest that the distinction God made doesn't apply. To claim to be trans is to deny the truth that God has given to us. What is gender based on according to your ideology? Self perception? Well, in that case, who's stopping an adult from calling themself a baby? Who's stopping a person with two arms from identifying as someone with one arm? There is a reality in place, and my heart goes out to the people who have gender dysphoria. But you must realize, people struggle with sins. There are people who struggle with addictions. This isn't much different. I know it may feel uncomfortable, but the solution isn't to abandon truth.

hi, i was kind of confused there too, but from how i see it, i think he's trying to say that in a biological/historical standpoint, it might have been helpful to have transgender people within the community help take care of children that were not biologically their own (because, like he said, the more adults there are taking care of the children, the better off they are). Then, if the children grew up well under a good number of adults, then they would grow up and later pass on good genes because they were raised well. I don't know too much about biology, and I am in no way saying that my interpretation is correct, but i do feel like this may be what Hartke was trying to say

Question, if we took away surgery and all the trans wanted to have a baby, how would they procreate without cheating on their spouse? Unless their spouses are also a trans. There aren't enough trans people on earth to affect the population, and acceptance of trans people won't cause us to overwhelm the population. Gender dysphoria isn't a contagious condition, and kids being convinced they're trans when they aren't is extremely uncommon. Is a cis woman still a "real" Woman if she has a hysterectomy? Is a cis man still a "real" man if he has an orchiectomy? Cis people have these procedures done for various medical emergencies. Gender dysphoria that is causing suicidal ideation is a medical emergency that these same procedures help with. Humans are over populated, so less babies for a few generations would be really good for us.

I'm watching this video because I'm 73 Years old and Christian and I'm just trying to understand. Some of what Austen said was simply wrong though. First thing I saw wrong was about eunuchs and medical castration. This was not done for the reason Austen mentioned, such as punishment. It was done to prevent the rape of women. Medical castration is done in prisons to rapists and pedophiles, sometimes at their own request, to prevent erection in males who use their genital as a weapon against women or children. Some of them thing it may also diminish the desire. My personal belief is that the soul is genderless. There's no gender in heaven (I believe that in the afterlife or beforelife is as spirits that have no gender) and therefore if you remember that condition of your soul, then you would have what I have heard called gender dysphoria. However, the sole purpose of the gender differences in the first place is procreation, and that's the only thing that bothers me. The declining birth rate is a problem. But if transpeople try and change the way we think of the sexes as "people who can give birth" or "menstruate", that's a problem too. Transpeople want to validate their identity at the expense of the identity of everyone. I'm not a hater, but I still don't understand why all this is even necessary. You can change yourself but you can't change the world.

She forgot to mention all of the scriptures where God doesn’t approve of homosexuality among other things. The only person that gets to be a trans should be the one’s born with both parts. Once they get older, they should be able to choose one and remove the other. That’s my opinion. But they could also keep both and find someone to accept them or something.

Being transgender is also not biblical. What does it mean for a man to identify as a woman? What exactly does that person identify as? Can a person with two arms identify as a person with one arm? Hey, fellow Christian here, I would simply like to point out that being LGBT isn’t necessarily a choice. I myself am LGBT, and I didn’t want to be. I tried extraordinarily hard not to be if that makes sense. I went through a very long period of simply hating myself because of it, and I thought God must have felt the same. Of course, I was forgetting that God loves all of his children, and I know for a fact I am one of His children because I asked for Him to forgive me of my sins, and come into my life, as we all have. It is really difficult being LGBT and Christian, but mostly because of the hate I see going back and forth. The church is not supposed to be a courthouse, it is supposed to be a hospital, where those who need can go there to find healing and grace. Perhaps I simply want to add that God still loves, even if someone were LGBT. They are His creation, and we all know that He loves his children without fail. But yes, it is important to read God’s word for yourself. There is no lie there.

European here, but part of LGBTQ+ Transsexual typically refers to the people who use medicinal means to transition (hrt, gcs). Transgender refers to people for whom the assigned gender at birth does not match their actual, experienced gender. As such a transgender person does not necessarily have to transition, or only transitions socially. Personally, I am nonbinary but experience almost no body disphoria, which is why I am not really considering transitioning, meaning I am transgender but not transsexual.

I believe USA ppl refer primary to a person who feels was born in wrong body, and might be taking some pills or injections before the big surgery. Transsexual was before refered to a person who had surgery. Before there was not such thing as “Transgender”, but ppl who were born in wrong body. But there was Transsexual, somebody who was done with medicinal means or surgery. For a true Transexual surgery was and is obligatory in order not to feel Homosexual. The Transsexual can never make sex (exposed completaly naked) with the same gender before surgery. He/she must look the oposite. Otherwise it´s technically Homosexuality. Thouh, they can kiss and hug. @@Beatusable I might have misunderstood what you meant, but Transsexuality and Sexuality are still two different things. There are transgender men and women who have sex with people of their own gender (and sex ofc), e. g. there are trans men (assigned female at birth, are men and in this example had gcs) who are homosexuals, i.e. have sexual reltionships with other men. that is not really that rare, a lot of transgender people are either bi or pansexual. A nonbinary person (short nb, sometimes also enby) is a person that does not fall within the gender binary. they can be genderfluid( their gender fluctuates over time), bigender (two genders at the same time), agender/demigender (no connection or a partial connection to the gender binary) or fall into a different category entirely. These things can be combined( demigenderfluid for example: fluctuates between woman-ish and man-ish). To find out where exactly you fall can thus be quite difficult. I myself am somewhat bigender (male + demiwoman, kind of), but I don't try to find out where exactly I fall because it does not matter enough for me. I just do what feels right, and thus only really identify myself as nonbinary.
I have a hard time when you use the word "patriarchy". If it's a patriarchy, why are men not allowed to dress like women, but women are allowed to dress like men? Doesn't seem very beneficial to men.
Good question, MattMan. Patriarchy hurts everyone, not just women. The more societies are patriarchal the more they are shown to have harsher punishments for crimes (like death for much less severe crimes than seem worthy of death), no allowance of men to have emotions, etc. The reason women are NOW allowed to dress like men is b/c women fought for that. It was not that long ago, though, that women could not wear pants. Earlier in the last century, women could be arrested for wearing pants. I wish men could wear dresses and no one bat an eye the way women can wear pants, b/c many dresses are SO freakin comfy. I fully support men wearing dresses. Personally, I am not a fan of matriarchy either. I prefer egalitarian societies where there is no hierarchy based on gender. I think maybe you have a hard time with the word "patriarchy" b/c it puts you on the defensive as a man. I do not blame men for patriarchy. Nowadays patriarchy, as well as sexism, happen b/c of bad messaging that keeps getting passed down. You don't need to take a critique of patriarchy personally just b/c you're a man.
Also because dressing “masculine” is more easily socially acceptable and respectable, while dressing “feminine” is more sexualized and sometimes seen as demeaning. That’s why a lot of men don’t dress feminine. It’s a self imposed patriarchy.
And this is why any feminist worth their salt talks about how the patriarchy hurts both men and women. We have an idea in our culture that things that are considered masculine are "better" than traditionally feminine things. Just look at how we talk about things women often like - makeup, fashion, romantic comedies - these things are often seen as frivolous compared to the interests of many men - sports, cars, fishing. We also see this mindset present in how we pay people. Traditionally feminine careers like childcare and nursing are paid very little despite the fact that they are highly trained positions and without which our society would collapse very quickly. tl;dr, women stuff bad, men stuff good. Men can't wear dresses because being feminine is bad.
Sorry the bible always states there is man and woman. No others. If we change that then We change one of the biblical principles and largest of scriptures.

I watched through the video wanting to see the arguments that transgender supporting Christians have to support transgenderism. I must say, I didn't find much. Transgenderism goes against the reality that God has clearly created. He made humans male and female. There weren't any other genders. If you want to argue that there were, then why do you think didn't God mention them? You'd think that would be something very important to mention. There are multiple verses going in depth in the roles that men and women have. If you want to think that there are more genders, where are the instructions for genders? If you want to bring up intersex people and eunuchs, that doesn't work. Intersex people are people who are born with a deformity, as a result of the fall, and their gender is unclear. They aren't a third gender. Intersex people are real, yes, but few, and are not at all another sex. Eunuchs are just men who have been castrated. Now I'd like to go more in depth about transgenderism and how it goes against the reality God has created. God created humans male and female. He made a distinction between them. What was that distinction? Well, men have certain body parts and DNA that only men have, and likewise with women with their respective body parts and DNA. Okay, well what does transgenderism suggest? Transgenderism suggests that a man, for example, can decide to be a woman and then actually be a woman. Hmm, that goes against the distinction of body parts and DNA, doesn't it? If you think a person who was born male, with the body parts and DNA of a male can be a woman, then that suggests that the distinction isn't based on body parts and DNA. So, with the transgender idea, what is gender based on? What does it mean to be a man or a woman? Well, from my understanding, transgenderism suggests that it's solely based on one's perception. So transgenderism suggests that a man can decide to be a woman and be a woman, and it's only based on what they think. Well, with that logic, what's stopping an adult from saying they're a baby? If you suggest that a person's perception is the deciding factor and distinction, then why can't I think that a table is actually a book? Well, because that goes against reality. I can tell myself that elephants are actually fruits that grow on trees, but elephants aren't actually fruits that grow on trees, and I'd be objectively wrong about saying that. The same applies to transgender ideas. I'd say that a woman is an adult human female. Female, as taken from the dictionary, means "of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) that can be fertilized by male gametes". But if you suggest that one's gender is based solely on what a person believes, then what would you say it means to be a woman? What defines a woman? If it isn't based on body parts and DNA, then what is it based on? You might say it's one's perception, but to say that is to completely eliminate the meaning of the word. If I can decide that a woman is an adult human female, but someone else can decide it's something else simply because they think so, and both of our interpretations would be correct, then a woman can be anything, and therefore the word has no meaning because, as transgenderism seems to suggest, anyone can decide that it means anything. Transgenderism goes against the reality that God has clearly created for us. If you support transgenderism, who are you to tell someone they're wrong in saying that a woman is a type of car, or some kind of vegetable? If you think being a man or a woman isn't based in the body parts and DNA, then what do you think it means to be a man or a woman? I'd like to end with this question: what is a woman? Maybe this person's argument wasn't presented in the best way, but they had the right idea.
I don't know what gender you were born as. Based on the name, I would think male. I'd like to ask, what does it mean to be non-binary? If you were born (I'm assuming, forgive me if I'm wrong) a male, then what changed to let you become "non-binary"? God created humans male and female. There weren't other genders created. Otherwise, I would think they'd be mentioned, but there are no other genders mentioned at all. There are multiple verses about the roles of both genders, and yet nothing about any others. I'd think that'd be very important to add. So, with being a male, how could you decide to be "non-binary"? Well, I'd think you just decided that you were. But what does that mean? What does it mean to you to not be either gender? These ideas people have today about gender go against the reality that God has made clear for us. If you think a person who has the body parts and DNA of a male can be a female at some point, then you'd say it isn't based on the body parts and DNA. If you think gender is simply based on our perception, then what's stopping an adult from saying he's a baby? Who would you be to deny him, if you think we can decide things like that based on our ideas alone? Likewise, if you think a man can be a woman, even with the body parts and DNA of a man, and you believe they're actually a woman, then it's all based on our perception. In that case, however, the meaning of woman falls apart, as well as man. If it's based only on our own perception, then someone could say that a woman is a type of car, and another person could say it's a feeling, and yet another could say it's a company, and on and on. If anyone is free to define what a woman is, then it comes to mean nothing. But we can't define for ourselves what a woman is. God has made the distinction for us, and we must follow. Likewise, if you think you're no longer any gender, then what does it even mean to be a gender? If you think a person can just decide that they're no longer any gender, then that suggests that anybody can just decide to be anything. That suggests this isn't based in some physical reality, but only on our thoughts, and that we can really just decide to be anything. But that's not the case. God has made the reality clear, and we need to follow it.
As a matter of fact, I did watch the video. I still don't know what it means to be non-binary. Perhaps you could explain for me, and let me know what exactly it means. Maybe the video didn't do a good enough job explaining that. I'd like to hear what you have to say.
@@victorkifyak6858 it’s not a decision you don’t choose to be non binary or trans in general, you just are, it can take a lot of introspection to understand and recognize that but i didn’t choose to be non-binary, i just am if i could choose i wouldn’t be, the only choices that trans people make in relation to gender identity is to share it with the people around them and the world and socially and maybe medically transition. medical transition even sometimes isn’t really a choice. biological sex is definitely a thing but it’s a lot more complicated than you might think, and it isn’t binary, the Bible even supports that as God made Adam initially as a hermaphrodite, neither male nor female, all fetuses start out as hermaphrodites then throughout the gestation process we often take on primary/secondary sex characteristics and “gain” our biological sex, but those just indicate your biological sex, and if you try to classify anybody as strictly male or strictly female you often run into contradicting information regardless of what metric you use to classify sex gender is a social construct, trans people have been around for forever you can find them all throughout history and cultures, multiple different cultures have had more than two genders for thousands of years if we as Christians are to minister to those that don’t know God we should always come from a place of love, and understanding and i believe you can’t really do that unless you have all available information both from the Bible and from the study of the world that God created for us, we are called to be separate from the world as our home is in Heaven but we shouldn’t be separated from it, the world is beautiful and broken, if we don’t understand the difference between the two we cannot expect non believers to. i didn’t choose to be non-binary, and i don’t define what that or what womanhood or manhood is, i just experience it, so to ask me to describe what it is in any meaningful way that you would understand because my experience is unique to me, that’s what makes us human, that’s why God made us the way He did. God didn’t make a mistake when he made me or any other queer person, we are not rebelling against Him, we are just living the lives that He gave us, and trying to live truthfully as He has called all of us to.

There weren't any other genders mentioned. That'd be something very important to mention if there were other genders. You see, in making the distinction, there is now an actual difference. We're in no place to decide what that difference is. God already has determined what the difference is. Now people today want to pervert the reality God has made clear to us. People want to say that a person's own self perception can define reality. Tell me, if a person has 2 arms, but he identifies as someone with 1 arm, does he now have 1 arm? No, he still has 2 arms. He's just saying that he has 1 arm, but in fact, that hasn't changed that he has 2 arms. Likewise, people can't decide reality because of how they feel in saying what gender they are. An adult who identifies as a baby is still an adult. I hear this a lot as well, how people try to claim that transgenderism is a solution, and that gender dysphoria is a real problem. Yes, I agree. I feel sorry for people who have gender dysphoria. I also feel bad for people who have addictions. See, though, the solution isn't to continue in your addiction. It can be hard to get past sin, but you have to do it anyway. I think the fact that you can't tell me what it means to be non-binary is very telling. According to your logic, it would seem that anyone can decide what it means to be a certain gender. In that case, one person could say a woman is a shoe, while another person says it's a type of chocolate, while yet another person says it's another word for a tree. If anyone can define the word, then the word means nothing. To say that anyone can define what it means to be a man or a woman based on how they feel is to go against the truth God put in place. We're also told many times about how deceptive our hearts can be. I feel sorry for people who have gender dysphoria. I imagine that it's a very hard thing. But it can be difficult to get past sin. The solution is never to embrace sin.
