I don't really follow Augie anymore. I'm one of those "I prefer the vlogs" guy. But I still respect him so much because he earned everything he's got. Dude was doing deliveries all day and starting out on his career model as well. He grinded for real

I got into bmx because of this guy. I am also into photography, graphic design, creating and so the lifestyle he portrays in the vlogs worked inspiring for me. I wouldn't probably have cared if he was just doing bmx montages

Personally I think the way he does his photography is refreshing, we always see the same old shit of people riding, his are different and very stylized
I relate to Augie in the way he wants to capture BMX in a non-conventional way. I love a good ol' barspin in the sunset but as a person that want to document everything that's going on in a little town, capturing the human essence of my local BMX scene is more important and works much better as a story telling element.

Man I didn't understand how down to earth Augie is. I just knew him for the vlog/RU-vid personality. Good to hear about his life and struggle, much respect to him
I use to ride BMX along time ago. I don’t know this guy but super transparent and honest. I can respect that! There are mad people that will hate you especially in the BMX community for what you do. It’s a super clicky world. Respect to him doing his thing. 🙏
damn austin's personality has really changed from a few years ago. I never was really a fan(talking about his youtube, I've always thought he was a talented rider) but in this interview he just comes across as so much more humble.
A lot of people hate on this guy for being himself. At the end of the day he's found a way to tap things he's interested in and make a living from them. I enjoyed the insight because I realised that he is actually quite self-aware of what he's doing and not as superficial as what he is often portrayed
What happened? Been in the bmx world since September. They weren’t doing videos together at all anymore. Same with Billy Perry, he’s not riding with Panza anymore
@@billygonza9632 they've mixed work and friendship together. All three or four of them riding on the same day and at the same spots filming the same thing.... Work it out for yourself 😉
When they were riding together panza was vlogging and 3 or 4 youths from the hood got fresh with there bikes panza and stephan ran of going on about the camara equipment and left augie on his own taking a slap i watch panza all the time but he let me down on that vid rusty would never have left him he does have ya back if ya jammin with him 👊

I miss the old Augie once he deleted his videos I stop watching him that's how I found him and love his vlogs he made me want to vlog and BMX then boooom gone just like that I wish he still kept them up so I can keep watching
Might not agree with everything this dudes about but i respect his way of thinking and his riding. Also if you manualing through traffic in New York(a serious task in itself) hittin big rails with hundreds of people around and in your way while duckin security fair to say you can rip.
I used to hate this guy and what he was doing, but after watching this I have a lot of respect for him and think he's bringing a positive influence to BMX.
I understand why you made your vlogs private. I get it . You do have fans that followed you for years starting with those vlogs . For the most part you had a great attitude! You look like your doing good man !
I always liked Augie. He's got good style on his bike. I see no issue with him being a pro. He put his work in. He's definitely better than me, i can guarantee that
I relate to that first question a lot. Trying to do the things that are generally dangerous in the way I want to do them but keeping my career afloat can be annoying.

I love wildlife if had little more money I will build my small mud house middle of nowhere definitely riding bike, building food farm and swimming with blue whale is my only dream.
In Austin's defense, a lot of the better questions happened to involve the topic of his modeling career in one way or another. And he actually doesn't mention riding little kid bikes at all.
@@OurBMX Misconception of what a professional is. He admitted he only does intermediate tricks but with style. Fit needs to put riders on their pro team like Jay Dalton or Logan Martin.
