Austin's voice just melts me. I also melt when I hear Trace Atkins voice. He is the same singer that sang Arlington. I would love if you could react to his song This ain't mo thinking things. He is 6'5", former oil rig worker, rough around the edges, but soft inside, gorgeous example of manhood. And he can sooooo move them hips
@@maggiereneemusic Yea, congrats! Austin +the boiiiz are all very tall, uber-talented, kind, funny +amazing live!! Austin's very special +so soulful. His riffs are *juuust* right, never overdone +so natural. He grew up in Georgia +sometimes traveled w/his dad's traveling gospel singing group. He's awesome. Can't wait for his solo album!
His website serves as his Patreon. He moved everything over to there - video sneak peeks, fan club, purchasing cameos, etc. his girlfriend runs the private FB group and is very active, often posting videos or whatever messages from Austin.

in a setting like this, the guitarist is the stage, he gives the singer the foundation , he's the circle at the opry, the spotlight at the met. in this video. he's providing that touchstone for the singer as well as the foundation for the listener. he's front and center talentwise while respectful relinquishing the center stage to the singer. really well played.

That on screen hi five was cute, and so Austin. Usually when someone does that continuous clapping it get annoying, but with Austin its cute and just so austin and so real. Love your reaction. thanks for opening us up to such great music.
This is amazing & it really suits him. Singing bluesy stuff like "When a man loves a woman" really suits him, best version I've ever heard of that one & I've heard quite a few. He can take this stuff wherever he likes but "Unchained Melody" is actually beneath his capabilities. He sings this really well. What an amazing voice he has.
Tim Foust and Austin Brown have started a side project called "Sweet and Low Music Co." The only I saw also included Jeffrey East and Chris Chatham (long time collaborators with both Tim and Austin), Tim's sister-in-law (a violinist) and another man (sorry but I'm hopeless with names). They intend to have live streams when they're not touring, recording, etc.
P.S. - Both Austin and Tim are songwriters and have written or co-written a bunch of songs. Austin's songs include "California Country", "Cold Hard Cash" ("Love Me Like That" and "Lonely Girls World" are both about a hard break-up he had); "Rest of My Life" is about his new lady. Tim has written "Snow Globe", "Remember This", "Champagne Taste" and "Understand" among others.
Hi Maggie, It seems Austin wants to have ownership of his creations and communications. Seems reasonable to me to do this via his own website rather than someone else's. To me he has just got his very own social media channel/website.

I’d never heard this song before a few days ago when I heard Violet Orlandi’s cover featuring The Melodicka Bros. “Ain’t No Sunshine *But It’s Goth*” lol. I’d recommend that video, it’s so good!

Hey, Maggie Reneé, I love watching your reactions. Looking forward to seeing you react to Austin's latest, the video that dropped about a week ago now. He's joined by Sabantien Douyon on piano for Bring Him Home from Les Miz. He sounds like he's falling back on his musical theater and cruise ship days (not that there's anything wrong with that) because the Southern seems to have gone into hiding for this song. It came out right before VoicePlay's The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim and I've been going back and forth watching one then the other then back to the first again, and back. Hope you can cover that one too.

Might be consistent with Bill Withers's original recording, one of my favorite songs as a kiddo (HS kid) when it came out. Listening to to WLS AM under my pillow at night in bed.
I know you have done Ring of Fire with Avi but you need to listen to Ring of Fire and Pretty Woman from the Sing Off. Much, much different with Tim singing all the bass, it also shows more of his range.
The important thing is that Austin doesn't rely on such vocal embellishment overly much. I've heard vocalists that do it so much it distracts from the song.
