Let me tell you about what made this man spectacular. He's one of the rare footballers that didn't care about trophies, he just enjoyed playing football and plays to be happy, period. LEGEND!!!!!!!!!
I'm a South African but I used to love the Super Eagles morethan Bafana Bafana. I still don't understand why Victor Ikpeba won Africa's best player over Jay Jay. (Soccer politriks) Okocha will remain my all time favorite player because I've never seen someone like him. Long live the Legend
He remains one player that will take us plenty of years to replace. He commands the ball at every given time and dictates the pace of the game. I love him.
i never watched uncle Jay because i he played when i was too young but now i sometimes watch his moves in RU-vid... he was really incredible, its pit he never won an African award... this is our legend... love you Nigeria from SA
1. When the road is bad' you slow down" when is good you speed up. 2. I never knew i was black until i got to Germany. 3. I kept dribbling them until they eat the grass... Jay Jay''' You still remain the Best
What made this interview very interesting was the fact that Teju baby face acted as a fan and not an interviewer, that made Okocha to be at ease and free to talk
I love that statement; I don’t care wether Nigerian road is good or bad, if is bad you slow down if is good you speed up 🤣🤣🤣 I never knew I was black until I got to Germany 🇩🇪 😄😄😄 honestly I enjoyed every bit of the show!
This is so lovely. I live in Germany and many men still talk about Jay-Jay and ask me about him as a Nigerian, not knowing I never met him live. Lol. About impact on National teams, let Jay-Jay indeed push, lobby, (whatever it takes) to be on the technical/coaching team o...the elites/politicians will respect his genuine interest if he doggedly seeks participation.
He Is the most gifted footballer Africa ever produced and One of the greatest dribblers and No 10s of all time, but he is definetly not the best player in the world lmao, players like Messi,Cruyiff, Ronaldinho,Pelé and Diego Maradona had better careeres and were far more talented
This is an awesome episode Mr Teju Babfyace: The real king of Talk! Congratulations to our own King of Football: the one and only Austin Okocha! You are loved and valued! You are eternally blessed!🗣😍🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥
@@nedudee7861 but I have to walk around with a security guard in Africa because of my white skin, it is dangerous for me to walk around. I'm blamed for "my ancestors taking Africa's resources" and causing Africa's poverty. I have to pay everyone, extra, and get scammed by police and border patrol. Today!!!
Those that would have kidnapped him are his mega fans. This guy is just a legend. My best ever footballer. Skills workshop, Mr magic. "He is so good they named him twice- jay jay"- British media
I love this interview session with Jay-Jay, the moment when pride is seen as an accolades. He left an indelible print in the minds of German football league. Aside dribbling, Okocha is also an incredible free kick taker..
With Vietnamese, I could only hear myself screamed loud, ohhhhhh Jay Jay, and everyone with surprising face, what happened? They can't understand what I feel, I feel proud having a legent like him in Africa.💖💖💖💝💗💖💖💖
You find this cringy? , The most tribalistic folks on planet earth. Champion's of ethic and and tribal chants. "Yorubas are the most educated" "they are the most repsectful" " omoluabi" etc. But its a crime for someone to as much as acknowledge a fellow IGBOMAN, You and your kith and Kin are most evil and repulsive hypocrites God ever made. Keep showing the world what you are made of!
Jay-Jay, you are unbelievably special! You did not allow yourself to be corrupted by vices in sport and you remained an original... Your invention of creativity and swerve are forever remembered in the streets and in the world of sports. God bless you.
OMG! Spellbinding session with the mercurial football legend. I find it difficult to believe JJ Okocha has retired from active football. Okocha is one of the best things that's ever happened to Nigeria. JJ we love you. Thanks for your sacrifice and labor of love for our fatherland. God bless you Sir!
@@aaronkellerman73 u can say Kanu was better bCox Kanu was a sticker and scores More goal but Okacha i still believe he's the best,,, imagine number 10 scoring an a fantastic goal and serves all angles + deadly drimbling and dambling.... I called it deadly drimbling Cox his drimbling can lead someone to an a deadly injury
Great interview Teju, met okocha in 1995 on a flight from frankfurt to lagos, he was so simple, had to sit next to him on the bus to the aircraft, couldn't believe my eyes when my self and my siblings saw him.
He may not have been as productive on goals like Messi, Ronaldinho, Maradona and other great dribblers but what I have seen him do with the ball none of these aforementioned come even close!
Well, I agree wif u oooooooo ma guy abt "other great dribblers" because, Jay is and will be forever part of all time top 3 best footballers in Africa buh certainly not the other three(3) names mentioned...They're e resurrectors of WORLD football ooooooo.
Jay Jay Magic Okocha remains among the best footballers in the world..And I'll say at a time the best in the world.. With or without personal awards and recognitions. He'll forever remain a football Genius and a world class player..He's without doubt one of finest football have ever had.
@Am an African from Somalia. @I really admire the charismatic skills Jay Jay Okocha introduced in the world of football. @This man should be an ambassador for soccer on behalf of African Continent.
Teju, thanks for bringing this man l so love in the football world. I watched it at first on the tv, and l can not but watch it again even during this lockdown period. I never get to watch the 2nd coming of this great man on your program. If you did, kindly post it. Okocha, God bless you for adding joy to us all. Can't forget those days and even now that lam in my 50's with three boys.
😀😀😀 I enjoy this episode, jay jay is good in everything, those people that refused to give him African footballer of the year they did in their selfish interests, maybe he refused to bribe them, but even at that God that made him knows that is world best player, Nigerians lv you bro and I'm sure the world lv you as well, that's the greatest achievement
Anytime I see JJ face anywhere it just puts a smile on my face cus he made my childhood and teenage days so fun with his displays and that big smile ..for me he's top ten best players in football of all time of an African is to b included in d list !..he's d best footballer Africa has ever produced and even d world ..I still go on RU-vid every once in while to look for his videos to watch all over again ..we need him to scout out someone that can be like him for Nigeria or African football and mentor d person ..cus the real fun and passion has left African football
Surely if given a gift by God, u ought to use it, this man was a blessing to football fraternity. Just a few weeks ago I was talking to my Nigerian pal about football and Jay Jay was the centre of our discussion and how a journo was fired for supporting Jay jay when Nigerian played a certain country in southern Africa.
Okocha is a Pride to Africa when you mention Futbol ... every African loved and appreciated him...we from his home town (Ogwashi-Ukwu),are happy with the kudos...Nweke Okolie
My Best sport Personality.I have been following him from Nikerchen[not sure of the name now] before Frankfurt.CAF really played politics then.Dr Larry & complete sports were always giving us stories about Jay Jay
