Thanks I know why it wasnt working when I tried to use this exact machine today, I forgot to open the tap at the end :) good video especially when you see the car rising as you pressurized the system.

@ianmax69 This pump is very rare in Finland today. I think I´m lucky when I found it in the early 90´s and had to buy it for 500 FiM.

This looks like a very early 1969/70 Maxi 1500 with AUSTIN lettering on the bonnet and the bad cable change gears. Bald tyres and a rusty exhaust.

I thought you had to pump a hydrolastic fluid into the system? What am I missing? Many thanks

god I remember doing that job on the old maxis and metros and alegros princess ect bad old days lol!!!

I should have been strung up for selling my Churchill Hydrolastic pump last year!
