Built on the former site of the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, Mueller is a neighborhood in East Austin. Mueller is considered by many one of the nicer parts of the city to live. It is semi-walkable with many stores, restaurants, parks, and schools surrounding the more residential core of the neighborhood. It also has some zones with mixed-use development. Many would call the homes in Mueller uninspired or cookie-cutter giving the entire neighborhood a soulless feeling. However, this is a vibrant community, which can be seen on display every Sunday at the Mueller Farmer's Market.
