Is it lebron fans that wanted him gon or is it lakers fans ? I’m a Bron and lakers fan but I’m not of them delusional fans that always wanted someone gon when they have bad games.
@@Sportsfan-cm5up Lebron loves Austin Reaves and wants him to be on the court at all times. Lebron trusts Reaves to take over games and have the ball in the clutch moments. It's delusional Lakers fans that criticize every mistake and Darvin Ham holding him back from reaching his potential. Reaves should've been point gaurd not dlo
@@hustlerinc6285 I mean he’s 6’5 he’s a good fit for sg but if dlo leave next season Austin should play the 1 and we should get a real sg cuz lakers always use the players at the wrong position. Like tp he’s supposed to be a sg but he’s playing at the 4.
@@Sportsfan-cm5up Agreed. Austin should play PG and lakers should get a SG like Caruso who can shoot 3's and play elite defense. Caruso is a top 5 defender in nba. Reaves finally gets more shots with dlo gone and a bigger opportunity to carry the load which he's fully capable of average 20+. Lakers should also upgrade the PF spot from rui. Lakers need quaility role players not another star
I like what I'm hearing. Attitude is about the team, about winning, about taking his lumps and being professional, about appreciating the greatness of others on his team, about holding himself to higher standards. I'm glad to hear he didn't think he delivered in the first 2 games because he didn't. But he was fine in the next 3. This guy is alright.
yeah for sure. i'm not a Lakers fan either, but Austin seems like the only one on the team without drama. you can tell during interviews he's very honest and passionate about the game. you can definitely here that passion in his voice.
Austin is a DAWG, he was the only one not afraid to go shot for shot with Murray in the clutch We needa keep him. You can tell he cares about the team, yall saw how he even yelled at the coaching staff to put him in the game in the 4th?
He's the most overrated Laker. They all cared about this game. He's talented but he can't defend. He let Murray roam free several times to get open shots in the fourth. He needs to work on his 3-point shooting too. He definitely can be upgraded.
@upfulsoul826 Rui is the most overrated. Austin isn't known for his defense although he did a decent job on murray. Murray And Jokic pick n roll is deadly. Can't blame AR.
Reeves was the clutchest and most aggressive player for the lakers in the last 5 minutes of a elimination playoff game. With LeBron and AD on your team, that's saying something.....
@@stivkerrr he didn't say he was bad, but he's short of being a quality 2 way player, which his role will need to be to be win. Also, if DLo stays, AR getting better defensively will help those 2 stay on the floor together.
@@TheQuickyouknowSeeing how inconsistent DLO is in the regular season and now for a 2nd time in the postseason the only reason a team should keep him is if they are rebuilding and not expecting to compete for a championship. DLO belongs in the eastern conference. The west is just too stacked for him. Can’t compete well against top 5 teams.
I'm feeling a little cold right now. Tough loss. However...thinking of how we hung the fabulous In-Season Tournament banner this season eases my pain and gives me much warmth. Thanks NBA for creating some joy in this mostly disappointing season for the Purple and Gold. 😉
In season tournament banner that's a a freaking joke it means absolutely nothing it's a made-up bs nobody knows anything about basketball that's ever played would put any stock into it in season tournament banner
AR needs all the PG starter minutes in 24/25. Without another small guard with the same skill package on the floor. it's so clear he's the best we got.
@@upfulsoul826 I disagree. I think he is. I think he showed he's also a finisher with his clutch shooting and he should it in tonight's game in the playoffs.
He can’t because he gets tunnel vision too much and doesn’t handle full court pressure from physical quick guards. Would be great if he could but he can’t.
Austin . You’re a starter for one of the best franchises in the entire world. You did great. Not one single person here in LA denies your latent ability. See you next year bud
Great job Reaves time to hit the lab bro and come back stronger and better next season, Lakers got you on a bargain contract and hopefully they make the right moves this offseason and you’re not apart of them moves 🙏
He was getting there. I think if the series went on longer he would have had a I"m Him type of game. How he played in the clutch tonight was the Austin Reaves I like to see.
If Austin could score 25 a game and play with confidence like he did when he have that im him game diff story . And defense he gets cooks on screens and picks
Hes overhyped cause of that reason Hes not him he hasnt proved anything in nba olympics nothin Caitlyn Clark is better and shes not the best just overhyped like him No Rings
AR is a winning player! This was by far the best exit interview. I love his mentality. I hope AR can remain a Laker, especially with his contract. But I know most teams are going to want him if we make a trade(s).
AR was never an issue with this team. Dude was always leaving it on the floor and holding himself accountable when he had a bad game. That's what a winner is and he will get a ring as a Laker. Keep balling AR. Lakernation loves you and believes in you 💛💜💛💜💛💜
They need to keep AD, reaves, and Dlo. Let Lebron fly the coup and pickup a strong point guard. Reaves needs to stack just a little muscle on and move him to SF, that team wins a title.
Reaves don’t need to improve anything. If HAM was coaching like a real NBA coach, his players wouldn’t be underperforming. But when they did he still let them drag their feet for 30+ minutes not scoring more than 10 points in a whole game. If anybody has to go is HAM first
If I'm LeBron. My option 1. Stay at lakers 2. Clippers 3. Kings 4. Warriors 5. Magic 6. Heat 7. Knicks 8. Cavs Hopefully bronny get draft by those team. But his not well prepared I guess
He can get in the paint. 3 ponters don't always fall. And he hit the big ones when it counts, like in last night's game. What did Murray shoot from the field for the series?
His self awareness and self accountability is why everyone is speaking about him positively. While everyone else, including Lebron blamed their failed season on injuries, Austin Reaves was the only player to say that he just wasnt good enough and that he'll remember this series this summer while hes in the gym grinding. Thats the attitude that every player should have after elimination.
Ppl dont know basketball. These role players aren't focal point of offensive plans. Lebron and AD take all the shots. Thus they score the MOST POINTS. They are the better players. Only guy on team that plays his role good is Reaves.
He's not the same type of player as AG and not as athletic. Rui is a combo 4 that relies more on his shot than his athleticism, and when he makes those shots is when he's at his best, he plays overall with more confidence. Rui not the problem bro @@TheSpiritOfTheWest
bruh everyone in the comments is capping for this man, he was hyped up as being the 3rd best and at times second best player.. dude is terrible defensively and he melts in the clutch but because he a fan favorite and a social media star yall capping.. nobody in denver was worried about no gotdamn austin reaves.. he needs to NEVER play shooting guard ever again.. dude is a point guard and he needs to play PG period.. he is a good playmaker nothing else
Lol He good and white. Too bad they didn't have him involved in game plan. Last year he only player that kept lakers from getn blown out. Only reason they won one game this year. Had to come of hams bench last 4 mins of 4th quarter to save the only game lakers won. Reaves not the problem.
