I think something people are forgetting about this song is that Zaachariaha is a TRUE PERFORMER! He is better in person by leaps and bounds, and the video is not representative of the magnetism he and Michael have. I think once people start seeing this being done live and the IMPECCABLE performances they will do on stage at the pre-Eurovision shows, this will grow FAST! I think this really is a dark horse for this year.

On a different note, I find him absolutely captivating I couldn’t take my eyes off his lovely and amiable smile in the video, he gave me so good vibes with just looking at the audience. Simple and effective. The song is lovely though so well done Australia ❤

So glad I gave this song another chance. The video was initially really off-putting. But, upon review. I like the song a lot. The nods to aboriginal sounds and beliefs are a huge plus. The global message of unity is SO important. And the house beat is like a global vernacular. Has anyone seen a live performance video?

I absolutely love it, probably one for old fossils like me who don’t like weird and shouty 😂 sadly if I love something it’s doomed to fail at Eurovision but I will be voting for it in the semi and really looking forward to the live staging. Love to Australia 🇦🇺 from the U.K. 🇬🇧❤

Australia's entry this year is pretty good! Especially on subsequent listens. I agree it doesn't have the same punch as 2000 & Whatever. Hopefully they can come up with great staging to really push it. PS Haven't seen Goy for a year and holy sh-- he lost weight!

Creo que se deben de olvidar de su canción pasada y enfocarse en esta, es diferente, con un propósito distinto, yo amé la canción y me pone feliz con sólo escucharla, es algo que ninguna otra canción en esta edición ha provacado en mi. I’m Australian and I agree with everything about this- the clip is a disservice to the song, and I agree, 2000 and whatever was better- but I also have high hopes this will be good live. It’s mid for me now but I have hopes it’ll just shine live ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely thoughtful reaction and entertaining as always, thank you. Music is the language of emotions after all so your theme of “spectrum of emotions” will be very fitting. The 0.618 reference is the root of fibronnaci (is found in nature of patterns ie pineapple, natulis shells) all about connectivity to nature. The song also reference to dreamtime, distinctive to aboriginal culture ☺️

First of all I find it amazing you didn't edit out your mis-gendering, but instead be honest about it. It's just one of those things that makes u so honest and relatable. Regarding the song, I expected a lot since Australia is usually one of my fav countries, but I think that this year got a lot of different techno/dance songs and bits of various genres, and this just pale compare to the others (in my opinion). Im just not hooked unfortunately. I wish Australia Good luck though, an amazing performance could change everything.

We considered trying that, but I said it tooooooo many times, it would have been impossible! Definitely fully down to the staging on this, it was hard to get a feel from this style of clip, but the song is solid!

I'm so so proud of our entry this year! I was really hoping for EF and Australia was being so secretive with who we selected. Having Aboriginal representation and language on the big stage is something I really wanted and I just know the live performances will be incredible. 🖤💛❤️🫶🏿

Listen to 2000 and whatever by electric fields. They came second in the Australian decides vote five years ago. That song would have won Eurovision as it was amazing. Please listen to it and do a reaction to it because I'm still upset that it didn't win the Australian national selection as it would have won Eurovision and it is 10 times better than this.

This is the story: Australia always loved Eurovision, started a few years ago as a guest, now joins the game, because Australia has nobody else to play with. For sure it's always interesting to see their diversity. And this song is really good. I imagine myself voting Australia from Italy. 🤟

@@giovannimoriggi5833 also Australia is in the European Broadcasting Union, which is the requirement for participation. There are several other non european countries that have competed and still compete. You are right though, Eurovision is huge here and we love love love it.

@@schmuelking1535 yes, but for somebody is a struggle to figure out that a country so distant can be part of ESC. Sometimes people don’t even know what EBU is, Europe is so packed with countries, while (I guess) Aussies are used to manage what they can to relate with the rest of the World

It's an NQ from me. Sure I'm all about the positivity and the lyrics and song are OK. But the song itself is not unique except for the didgeridoo and the assorted Australian native language. It's not retro but acceptable in the way that you can sing-along to like Gustaph's "Because of You" last year. This is retro in a "it sounds old" way. Also...I supremely dislike the trite message of "we are one" or "I am me"...boring and overused!!!!
