It was the Liberal government who launched the Digital ID back in 2016 under Turnbull and the drafted legislation for it in 2021 that was tabled in parliament but the 2022 election got in the way and the ALP are finishing off their work. The uni-party have worked together for decades to enslave us, we can't vote our way out of this corruption because it's geared for either the blue or red teams to win even when they get around 30% of the primary vote.

In that case you will be unable to use a Bank account or have any accounts, electricity, water, Council rates, etc. etc. but the Government didn't make it "mandatory" they will encourage Businesses etc. to do their dirty work for them as they did with vaccinations.

Everyone that's ever wanted your info online always say your data's safe, then they get hacked and all you get is a "whoops sorry". And now they want to put all the eggs in one basket, imagine how fast that will get hacked when it's the only data point the hackers need to aim for.

Dig ID isn't nessary is it? We all have birth certificate Driver licence passport tax file number ect to centralise all that is of NO benefit or convenience to Australians. Government is very good at tracking people if you owe them money. But are terrible at cyber crime and can't even run a decent Web site or answer a phone, yet if YOU need to contact ANYONE from any department in government you have no ability to do that.
If this country is a democracy why doesn't the government ask the people's opinions before they bring in these changes? Why don't we get a say .. isn't that what democracy is all about?

I hope people realise that commenting online has no impact in government. If you’re not bombarding you local members and state member with letters and emails about your concerns, you’re mad. I do. If enough people actually started doing it, that’s when you get heard. Also, I hope everyone is out there withdrawing and using cash more than ever. Don’t get on here and whinge when that’s gone if you’re not physically doing your part to keep it.
Speaking of surveillance state. Everywhere I drive there seems to be a billion cameras. All types of cameras, red light, speed, mobile speed, mobile trailers with cameras, cameras up on top of lights or poles at traffic intersections, traffic cameras at what seems like every 30 metres or so along some motorways(full surveillance). It's beyond a joke. There is no privacy any more.
