'We get nurses from some of the poorest countries in the world and the World Health Organization has repeatedly told us off for doing that.'
Founder of Novara Media Aaron Bastani says the UK 'should be training nurses at home rather than lumbering them with debt.'

These are doctors. Not teachers or nurses. Consultants earn easily 400k to 5 million pounds in the private sector in Australia depending on speciality for full time work. Surgeons earn the most. GPs can earn £300-400k per annum in Australia for full time work in good areas. With plenty more tax deductible expenses than in the UK. Don’t worry. Trust me, they’ll be fine. They’ll be better off in Australia. We have air con in our cars, in our offices, in our homes. In my car it is 22 deg C exactly the same as my house and my office. 😂 Solar panels work really well here too. 😂 very efficient.

A friend has just become an oz resident after 40 years living there so she could claim her oz pension. They look at all your assets, inc cars, stocks and shares, money in the bank etc and if you have too much, your pension is reduced. The lifestyle out there is not what it was. On a visit to the uk, she took home 3 rolls of wallpaper that would have cost in oz £150.00, as everything is imported. She paid £20.00 for the 3 rolls here. Swings and roundabouts.

If Dr's want to go to Australia good luck to them, but it should have to do a minimum term in the NHS to offset the £160,000 we pay to train them, if they leave they reimburse for the training, it's standard practice in the private sector if an organisation pays for expensive training they reimburse if they leave before an agreed amount of time.
