Those white birds are Ibises. We call them bin chickens because they have adapted to urban life and usually dig around in rubbish bins.

I want to go to Australia now!! The cities were gorgeous along with the wine country and the opera!! I love the animals!! They are so different!! Thank you for sharing and for always having a smile even in the rain. You are content no matter what the circumstance!,

Lovely trip. Too bad David wasn't feeling well halfway through, hope everything is fine now. You guys went there during mid-autumn (I think), temperature should be dropping; it should be cooler. So nice. Too bad you're on your way back to the US, maybe next time if you are able to, you can try taking the Indian Pacific Express from Sydney to Perth. Get to see both the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean. Have a safe and wonderful trip home. Bon Voyage!!!

Feeling much better now. I think the stress of the move just wore me down. We need to go back to see more of this beautiful country. I especially want to go scuba diving there!

You did make it to Australia! I had been wondering why you both weren't doing Oz and NZ since you were already in Sg, before heading back to the USA. Too bad you were leaving Sg at a time when outdoor masking is no longer mandatory, PLUS from Apr 26, no group and capacity limits, no vaccine pass ( safe entry and trace together) required except for events>500 and nightclubs, and all nightlife are back. And a real bonus for me, as I'm planning to visit Sg sometime this year, no covid test required, just double vaxxed! I'll get to see the 'real' Sg like before covid! Don't know how cold Minnesota is now, but here in Ontario, it's a yoyo, between minus 2 and 10⁰C most days. We just had snow last week! Kinda nice and depressing at the same time watching your exploits in sunny and gorgeous Sg, Australia, and Maldives. Sigh, winter just doesn't want to leave!

No, I wish we would have, but didn't go out of our way to find it. There are kangaroo burgers if you go to the right places but we didn't seek it out.
