my ex-wife (a professional) smashed a dining room chair over my back in front of our two children, 3&4 at the time, after me calling for a 'time out' to de-escalate her oft aggressive behaviour. Whilst on all fours I gathered myself and rationalized the assault with previous experiences playing contact sports ie rationalized it with 'had far worse' then got up and walked away and let it go, again. Be a man. Many many years later our daughter, the 4 year old witness, raised her mother's violent behaviour and spoke of this event amongst many. The mother's response was symptomatic of the biases herein. ''There's no way you can remember that'' was her admission response then she stated it was my fault and that I deserved it. After my eventual marching orders our two children were directly in the firing line. That daughter whilst working for her mother was assaulted in public by her mother with witnesses. As I should have done early on, I encouraged her to go to the Police. Same for my first born Son after his girlfriend tried to run him down twice after he tried to walk away from a domestic. Both, whilst being interviewed by female Police Officer, were told that female initiated domestic violence is just as common as male initiated and that in fact they know it's higher as men usually don't report such violence. This problem involves both sexes (yes only two of them) and should be addressed accordingly. Singling out men only is BS. The stats in my immediate family is that of the three men and one woman ie myself and my three children, all have experienced multiple serious DV incidences perpetrated by women. There are none by any men. Go to the Police regardless of the possible derision. They are there to help, serve and protect. I should've, my youngest Son should've, it was the best thing my eldest Son and my Daughter did. Put these perpetrators on formal notice that their behaviours are unacceptable and against the law. As of today my two youngest have had nothing to do with their mother for over 5 years. They have tasked her to get professional help after her meaningless attempts at ''let's just let bygones be bygones'' and that they were both equally to blame BS excuses failed. The kids now 30-ish won't compromise after their many decades of abuse.

My brother rang the Port Adelaide police station last week to report a woman for physically assaulting him and the female officer who took the call snorted derisively at him, barked a report number at him and hung up.

I bet this minister won't put behavior laws on all the women with only fans accounts. Taking money from the men they say they want to stop and encouraging the very behavior they oppose.

Someone please lay a complaint with the appropriate police force to investigate the blanket use against all men in this ridiculous report. Surely this must be psychological violence against men.

For the past few weeks, I have been discussing this with people I meet. I am a tradie and I visit several homes a day. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have told bout this new 'Ministry' has responded with disbelief, saying that I must be mistaken, and then scoffed how ridiculous that is. EVERYONE!

I've helped mates through child custody battles in family courts because I've been through it myself. They have a "men's behavioral change" program but none for women. One mate was fighting a woman who had drug issues, her boyfriend was beating the kids. Their temporary orders involved both of them having to submit drug tests at their own expense. She never ever submitted a test but she enjoyed primary custody of the kids. He would not get to see his kids at the schedule time if he didn't have the money to pay for and attend drug testing. Through all of this, somehow HE had to attend men's behavioral change program but she didn't have to attend any such thing. It's a scam. It is another attack vector on society by those who want to destablise it. Otherwise it should be based on cause/effect and it should not be gender-specific. The content of the course was aimed at degrading and humiliating men, and if you didn't comply, the feminist running the course would kick you out and you woud not get to see your kids. It's pure evil. If women think this is funny, the should think again. These program come from tools who are being used to DEMORALISE society at large - not just men. A weak society is a compliant society - one that can be ruled over without much pushback. The attack on men is about making the public more manageable and less proned to being disobedient. This is not good for anyone. It's actually the worst for the next generation. At what point will the people see the ground rushing up towards them on this issue of descent into tyrany and totalitarianism.

From what I read I believe this is the wrong way to solve the issue. Telling people that their mindset should be changed can and will sound to some, especially to radicalized individuals, like a dystopian re-education policy and will therefore lead to resistance.
